This is a logical fallacy, it doesn’t matter how many people agree with me. When a system becomes deeply engrained into the game you don’t have any other choice than to use it, realistically. Regardless, most people who agree with me will quit the game if it comes out before ICC. Classic wotlk will be dead on arrival if that was the case.
Dang I want RDF from launch or pre-patch so when I find a group I can instantly teleport to a dungeon, and if we Lose someone I can leave the dungeon and return to what I was doing and instantly return to the dungeon after someone else joins the group even if it takes 45 mins. Instead of waiting inside of the dungeon for 40 mins only to have the group fall apart, then have to hearth and fly back to where I was leveling… Only to do it again when another group starts.
I don’t see why. There is no positive server community in 2022 WoW Classic to destroy. There is only individual guild community if anything, & a lot of those aren’t even healthy.
You aren’t the target audience if you play retail. Living proof there is nothing for blizzard to gain catering to you, because you’ll play retail anyway if classic doesn’t cater to your whims.
This part is true. It’s simple human nature. People will always take the path of least resistance, even to the detriment of their own enjoyment. And calling something ‘optional’ is usually just a silly argument. Something as impactful as dungeon finder is not optional.
But it’s part of Wrath. So…it’ll be in Wrath Classic. The damage it did (which was community destroying) doesn’t really matter. That community doesn’t exist anymore anyway. But you can always play eternal Classic and the soon to be eternal TBC servers.
Blood Drunk just literally doesn’t want anyone cutting into her boosting profits imho.
They want low levels to be completely unable to complete dungeon content without having to pay them 50-100g a dungeon.
They don’t actually care about server community, they just toss around buzz words and claim everyone agrees with them, despite evidence to the contrary.
They literally just don’t want their cash cow to go away, and will do whatever they can, and slander whatever they can to try to make that happen.
Wrong. It defeats YOUR purpose. Stop acting like you speak for more than anyone but yourself. It’s narcissistic, narrow minded and self centered.
I, for one, loved LFD. No longer did it require spamming trade or lfg chat for a hour to get a dungeon together. You could queue for it and begin the dungeon rather quickly.
Did it ruin certain social aspects? Yes, only because it offered a certain level of anonymity but only after they started connecting realms in with LFD.
This is the way old WoW was, including a majority of WOTLK’s existence. There is plenty of other games including retail WoW that cater to your preferences.
See how many downvotes pro LFD posts got pre classic release. Old WoW (including a majority of wotlk) did not include wrath and the people who fought for classic hate it. You are a retail tourist, you don’t speak for the core classic community.
Just gonna drive even more people to mega servers. What’s the point of server locking when the majority of the playerbase ends up on Benediction/Faerlina for faster queues? 1/3rd of the population is already on those two servers, any change to make a feature worse for the smaller servers is just going to expedite the exodus.
