Its in his nature to go to some extreme end that does nothing but irritate players and doesnt fix anything in the game at all.

Ive seen them enough on Daggerspine. I just aint had any problem as a result.
I think some players watched a big name streamer rambling on about bots or boxers and now theyve got to spam this forum with threads about it. lol
Real $ advertising linking to other websites in the group finder is also insane. I report hundreds of them per week and it does nothing.
Yeah, that took me by surprise actually. I leveled a new priest through shadowlands last week and reported a few druids that looked suspicious. Got an email a day or two later thanking me for reporting and saying action was taken. They’ve always been real tight lipped about when they action other accounts so I was surprised they actually sent me a mail telling me about it. Nice to know it was done so quickly though.
it is against the tos to bot.
and then watch as almost no one lists stuff on the auction house because its not worth it. take out the listing fees and 15% cut and you will in some cases end up making almost nothing or even go in the red. gold is literally thrown at you during questing. there is no excuse not to be able to scrounge up at least 5k gold on one toon.

That’s just it. I find it very hard to believe that Blizzard can’t write a script / program to auto catch those ads. I mean realistically… how hard it would it be to write an internal piece of code in your data base that auto scans sections of their own game.

Oh god THIS too. Honestly just a few ingame GMs to scour for bots in the usual locations and keep the dungeon finder clean would do wonders. They wouldn’t even need that many people, honestly. But the amount of ads to sift through when wanting to find any group finder content is just…
I don’t think Blizzard considers daily bot policing financially rewarding. It’s probably seen as unnecessary employment.
Mostly I suspect because you can pick herbs while in travel form, fly instantly rather than waiting for mount cast, and their aoe for farming low level stuff is pretty huge. Lot of benefits that make QOL easier when doing any kind of farming, so it gets abused by bots

Here’s what you’re not getting, they know bot’s are a problem and yeah they could fix it very fast but with them also doing that they will lose a lot of subs and at this point they just can’t do that. i know they had a real problem back in the day with Honorbuddy with them really not knowing how to fix it (ending up having to sue) to get it to end. all i’m saying is they know, will they do something about it? no, Will they later? maybe when subs are where they can take the hit and be fine.
if anyone does this to me, i either ignore them (because… in reality, what sort of response do they expect?)

See you get the problem, instead of trying to conflate it as being ‘unfair’ or related in any fashion to other abilities. Those abilities for the most part require a person to be out of combat to access. Last I checked on my Druids, the Druid is not knocked out of Flight or Travel form. Frankly I’d be completely fine if Travel Form flipped off for Combat Form. That would level the gathering field.
Because making gold is kind of one of the goals of the game, it’s not like travel time or other perks like Glide. Those don’t give a hard advantage to the class doing the activity. Make it easier? Sure, but not on the same level as a permanent 60% / 310% Speed boost. I have 2 Druids at 50 and Blizzard is more than welcome to check my Account if they feel like testing my word.
Because of that, I know exactly what the issue is and why some Druid players are screaming bloody murder that 'it’s not that big a deal’. It is a big deal, and if it wasn’t they wouldn’t be fighting it with every fiber of their being to try and “stop”.
The reason ultimately that I believe Druids have it simply ‘too good’, is that when I play mine, I am able to pop in Flight form; land, herb and fly away if a mob attacks me. If something goes south or I can’t get the node easily, I can simply fly up, and the mobs reset. No other class has anything remotely as convenient where it relates to the gathering professions, and that’s really the issue here.
It’s not travel, it’s not QoL, it’s the issue with the economy being flooded by masses of farmed materials, and the farming is being done by a single class for a single reason. Thus the people saying it’s no big deal are essentially liars. They are trying to disregard the facts because they don’t like where they lead ultimately.
It is a big deal, for the following reasons. Any issues related to the WoW Economy tends to ultimately affect everyone on some level. This is because not everyone can afford to buy a WoW Token to balance out their assets. This in turn turns players off of the game when they fall behind, or are unable to make money; which makes it a issue to the long-term health of the game.
Don’t talk to me about Druids. I used both my Night Elf and Tauren Druid in BFA to get Zin’Anthid regularly and once I level them to 60 I will use them in the Maw to get the materials I need since it’s the path of least resistance. That same logic is used by the people who use bots I imagine.
What a lot of people don’t grasp is that just because X is a thing, doesn’t mean it’s good for the game.

My state has increased the fines and fees for speeders. Huh…people STILL speed…whaddayknow. I had a car pass me doing at least 100mph even though the limit on that strip is 65.
Trashing druid WONT even slow bots down, sorry to inform those of you who keep bringing that joke up. We’ll just have yet ANOTHER TRASH class and bots STILL running everywhere.

Classes are supposed to have UNIQUE ADVANTAGES and even disadvantages.
