This is a slap in the face. The Evoker forums are filled with a new thread every day asking for permanent visage form. They can obviously work around being forced into the Dracthyr form since they are adding new effects for the racials for non Evoker Dracthyr.

Who is it hurting if they give us, the player, a choice on which form we would like to use as Evokers?

Also, why are Evokers getting racials nerfed as well. At least make the talents they are adding revert the CD to our current times.

This. I’d main an Evoker 100% if I could cast in visage form.

I don’t know why they can’t just do a Demon Hunter thing and only make us go into dracthyr form for specific abilities, like deep breath. DHs have an AoE stun that makes them go into demon form for like, one second, and then pop back out.

I really hope they reconsider this.

Because Dracthyr is the default form for them, and the Visage is the transformation.

With Demon Hunters your race is the default form and the demon is the transformation.

I personally think Dracthyr not being Evokers is like Demon Hunters or Death Knights not being Demon Hunters or Death Knights.

Like ohh I have Demon hunter visuals but im going to be priest instead, or Yeah the Lich King Killed me but im still going to be night elf druid thanks for the blue eyes.

Hope the people that really wanted this enjoy it though.

I picked the class not the race they just happen to be stuck together. If could be any race and still play an Evoker I would not be dracthyr. What a dumb statement.

I obviously enjoy the class itself, but I think the Dracthyr form is pretty weak with how they handle transmog. If the Dracthyr form displayed my full transmog I would be fine with that too.

Blizzard: Evokers must stay in drachtyr form because their abilities are dragon themed.

Also blizzard: other classes can use tail swipe and wipe buffet but not turn into a dragon.

New set armour design for Evokers, luckily they put in effort on the shoulders and belt because it’s the only parts we can see, oh nope just a pair of questing greens.

The Dracthyr form would be better if the double down on it and didnt half foot it by creating the visage form.

the thing is the creator of the dracthyr just draws lizard/waifue art so the race was doomed from the get go.

like the creator defending on twitter criticism about their lanky statures saying “they are casters they are meant to be skinny.”… like what?
