To be fair, an army of dragons where each one can combine the powers of multiple flights would be a very powerful force.
Also, just because you look lanky doesn’t mean you’re not physically powerful.
but they are not black dragons , They were created by Nef before he became Deathwing as Soldiers for teh dragon flights , they all have the essence of teh five flights in them , teh DPS ones use Blue / Red abilities while teh healers use Green/ Bronze .
What they said about how they were thinking about how the healing spec will work is intersting ( for those taht havent seen the preso teh green part is your normal healing magic while teh bronze part is timey type of things like making teh last % of damage the player took not actually happen ) and you can use your talent points to spec into which abilities you want , some may use 60% green 40% bronze etc.
And as Thallia said above - they could of been just one of many classes that Nef was going to make --he was just corrupted and became Deathwing before he finished maybe
how would they be exposed - hey had teh full force of teh dragon flights to fight with , pretty sure most enemys would be more worried about 100s of red , blue and black dragons on eth front line backed up by the green and gold flights to worry too much about teh ones behind them
It’s a matter of taste, I love the current look, I’d be very sad to see them bulked up, or have ridiculous boobs hung on them.
If you don’t like the look, play something else. There’s many other options.
So they’re giving us the dragon fantasy, but not really?
Most dragons we’ve fought have been pretty powerful looking and didn’t stay at ranged.
And why isn’t there a black tank spec that also works in maybe some red and bronze? It’d have made a lot of sense.
If you’ve got the full force of the dragons flights, do you really need tiny little foot soldiers?
I’m really wishing they’d have just been dragons instead of these experiments.

You’re right that something doesn’t need to be bulky to seem powerful, but they do need to at least be muscular to seem powerful — the Nightborne lacked for both and it has, statistically, been to their detriment.
Well to be fair he was insane…
It’s ugly as sin to me, but others like it. I will let it be what they want and hope that I get what I want later down the road.
