It’s kind of mind boggling to me that balance druid feels like more of a rot spec than affliction warlock. Their dots do more damage and spread cleave is so much more of an important part of their playstyle, whereas affliction feels more centered on big bursty damage from stuff like seed of corruption and malefic rapture. Affliction should be THE ranged dot spec. Unstable affliction as a spender was just a much better design overall. I don’t understand why Blizzard felt the need to move over to their dot spec being the explosive damage spec, while specs like balance and shadow (to a lesser extent) feel like their dots actually do damage.
