The Desperation has begun

Why did you post this twice? I saw it the first time.

Because I forgot I replied to you apparently lol

Or maybe mind your own business, play the game the way you want to and stop getting your feathers rustled by people playing it differently, but still within the confines of the rules?

If Blizzard decided to close down the Trade channel because of this spammed stuff, I imagine they would then move to General Chat. And the people who were using General chat for ingame conversation would again be forced to move to some other chat channel.

Does it matter what the channel is called? It could be called the Purple Channel for all the actual Trade that happens. I occasionally make some things like the Rituals of the New Moon which are a nice cosmetic item. They can sell for a decent price and I like to try and avoid paying the AH commission. In the past Ive managed to sell them in Trade but nowadays I don’t even bother because so many people have either turned off Trade or blocked anything that includes words to do with selling. Which, when you think about it, sort of defeats the purpose of having a selling channel available for people to read in cities even if they are far away from an Auction house.

I think paid carries damage the social aspects of WoW, and not just in relation to doing instanced combat - I think it generates a lot of negative emotion, which is pretty obvious from almost every form of discussion about it. The sooner it is gone from the game, the sooner we can start getting a healthier atmosphere in WoW.

It’ll never be gone from the game. Paid carries have been around since Vanilla.

People would have to play the game for me to get my feathers ruffled about them playing differently. Ruining the I’m game economy so you can pretend you’re on the winning team doesn’t qualify. And is also pathetic.

I mean, you’re entitled to your opinion. As vitriolic as it comes off.

Glad you picked up on that. I hope they ban all forms of carrying and all the people that defended it. Just to be clear.

Would you like a cookie? I’m not Grumbles, but giving out cookies seems to improve most folks moods and temperaments.

And many said…“They will never stop multiboxing, it makes them too much money.”

And yet they did that by banning input broadcasting software which basically did away with a player controlling larger packs of characters. Likewise, how many people actually thought they would start changing the faction divide? Times do indeed change.

If they believe that they are losing money because their customers are quitting the game over the issue, do you really think they won’t make any further moves about it? One thing I know is that ultimately this game depends on its monthly subscriptions. People cant buy tokens and cant buy stuff from the shop if they aren’t subbed to the game.

You are aware the president of their company runs a carry service, right?

Edit: And sure, people are going to quit in droves over regular carrying, like the good ol’ days.

Funny enough I am aware of that. Currently he’s doing nothing illegal but in my possibly not very humble opinion, he’s being something of a fool. People in positions of responsibility often are. Whether he wakes up to himself and recognises that image is rather important in his job, only time will tell.

You sure are very authoritarian, for such a small, pink haired gal.

Gnome speakz gud. You WILL listen or I spank.

Mmm, sorry, but the only gnome I’d listen to would be Grumbles.

Would you like some tea then? I have Earl Grey or Oolong. Tea helps balance the humors.

Well Grumbles is a very attractive gnome, I will give you that.
