The cost of 3 star epic enchants... feels like p2w

I wish people would stop using pw for things for prices they do not want to pay. This game has always had items that were priced crazy for the economy at the time. I remember how crazy Darkmoon decks were and enchants were at the time. People are only screaming pw now because buying a token is an option now where as people would buy gold somewhere else.

Besides why would you put an expensive bis enchant on gear you are going to replace soon? Use lower enchants until you get the best gear you can get and then waste the gold on gear you plan to use for a long time.

I use Sophic Writ (And not Devotion), as well as not using consumables and still parse well enough for clearing casual normal content.

Leave the 100k+ enchants for the people crazy enough to be pushing Mythic raids right now because unless you have a BiS weapon you won’t replace this season, there’s no point dropping a massive amount on something you might not even use for three weeks.

people who answer to this post saying : blizzard doesn’t set prices people do remind me how low int this community has become XD

?
At least the weapon enchants are not so expensive because of epic shards. They are expensive because of Glowing Titan Orbs and I don’t see them becoming cheaper in the near future. One orb costs 12k here in EU.

The problem with epic shards isn’t that there’s not enough equipment that could be disenchanted. There are tons of epics dropping from rare mobs and M0 equipment is bad in comparison to some open world stuff and raid equipment.
The problem is that 80-90% of epics that are disenchanted don’t even give epic crystals. I’ve disenchanted tons of epics so far but most of the time I just got some blue shards and dust. And no, putting some skillpoints into the disenchanting tree doesn’t make any difference at all.

Buy the two star until professions are fixed.

have you… tried making a work order for these?

you would not believe the saving you can get when you post a work order for… anything. for everything.

that doesn’t answer either question, why ONLY there? and why such low drops?

They could have easily made it spawn in other areas, or in the outskirts of gnoll areas, and they could make it so each flower drops 8-12 rousing decay instead of 1-3

Dude relax and learn to take a joke. My god. lol

I had quite a productive and intelligent discussion with others in here, while all you did was just throw a fit over one comment meant to be lighthearted. Calm down.

Glowing titan orbs are the problem. Low drop rate on open world mobs. Blizzard should make them more common.

That’ll happen over time as more players hit 70 and are killing more open world mobs.

Are you saying Blizzard is forcing players to charge that much?

If you’re paying that much as a non mythic raider, lol.

That is where you’re wrong, the price is influenced by the orbs which have awful drop rates on specific mobs people are farming on every possible shard to get.

If the mats (As well as the awful crafting system) were not so hard to get everything for, the price wouldn’t be so high. Seeing prices that high, Blizzard should’ve well over a week ago made sure to fix things so the prices were not that awful.

Correct because if you can use a token to buy gold, and the ‘best’ things cost gold… it is p2w. Unless of course, the game has a way for you to earn said items on your own without said gold… which for most I don’t see as a possibility to even really get the mats yourself with how farmed they are.

The thing is, if you took away the WoW token players wouldn’t be able to charge that much. The WoW token is what allows these crazy prices to exist. The same goes for paid boosting. Nearly all of those 100k paid carries are funded by people buying WoW tokens with real money. Whoever came up with the idea for the WoW token should have been given a VP promotion. It’s made Blizz millions by letting them sell player power for real money while at the same time being able to deny that they’re P2W.

I cancelled three days ago, but yeah, I agree. As someone who fails at the AH, the most I’ve ever had, over the 18 years I’ve played, was around 300k. Prices are ridiculous.

but it’s not. you can still lose even if you payed, and you cant charge them back.

I mean thats like saying thats their problem for buying the expansion right. the same temptation to play the game is close to/equal to the same temptation of buying gold.

I am sure there are however no one on this thread that i have seen/directly address have said that.

No, I disagree. The point is that there WILL be enough. The game came out three weeks ago and … we’re already complaining we can’t have the best of the best?

Why would I want everything just handed to me on the day of, what’s the point of even playing or working towards anything. Sounds boring as hell to me.

The materials alone for that particular enchant are over 50k…then the amount of knowledge and proper skill point placement to even make is time consuming, as well as getting to the point to even make a tier 3. Complain about the requirement of certain mat’s in them I am all about…(glowing titan orb).

Did you skip shadowlands? Legendaries were expensive as hell…
