The censorship wont stop

Ah, they ground the bones to make their bread? How appropriate.

Guys I think we better just stay on the safe side and remove every female from the game that way no one can find one of them sexual.

Good start, but it looks a bit like that would disadvantage NPCs based on gender.
Not wanting to discriminate we should also remove every male as well.

Well folks never thought fart would be removed looks like mogs are next

I hope they disable chat I’m offended by stuff people say in chat :frowning:

The succubus will now wear lululemon leggings, a Pride hoodie, and Seduce will be changed to a presentation on Gender Studies that cannot be trinketed out of.

It will also have no diminishing returns.

That’s in the next PTR build.

Blizz: Mail Box will be now called a Gender Neutral Postal Receptical.

Should of been the first thing removed. They actually start enforcing that, then I’ll be more interested and feel like maybe they are changing for the better. Right now however, the game does not justify any sort of cost. Not since 9.1.5 STILL isn’t out and 9.2 is ??? in the maybe pile.

Nah they did this crap with Kul’Tirans and Zandalari.

Ain’t paying unless there’s real content. Korthia got old fast.

I suspect that they’re going to go back and censor Jaina next. They already covered her cleavage in an artwork, next they get rid of any appearance of her midriff-baring outfit. But the virtue-signaling won’t stop there.

Ysera and Alexstraza will also get covered up, then Garona, then Night Elf Sentinels, then any female character in open or small tops/dresses until the war on the female navel is finished.

After that, they’ll probably censor the dungeon boss “Assad, Caliph of Zephyrs” by changing his title, because ‘Caliph’ is an Islamic title and they might get called “Islamophobic” (of course, it’s unlikely they’ll remove “Archbishop” and “Bishop”).

That’s all I can think of, but there’d always something for people like that. Woke ideologues are always looking for another “enemy”. To quote Prince Nuada from Hellboy 2: “Greed has burned a hole into their hearts that can never be filled. They will never have enough.”

Maybe, but I doubt Crusade would be changed to Inquisition. Both those words get associated with the one real-life religion that’s either permitted or encouraged to be prejudiced against or attacked in this “Brave” Woke World.

Hey congrats! He’s gone now!

Burka transmogs will become a focus

I predict
Nothing that will get my undies in a bunch.

Others will be clutching their pearls over Blizz pretending to clutch its pearls.

If they ever mess with any models bodily proportions, like making them have less of a butt or something equally dumb, I’d unsub. Because body positive? or some nonsense and these women are at a higher standard would be the presumed reasoning? That’s the stupidest thing I could think of, pretty sure it has negative chances of happening though.

aaaaaaand he’s gone

Is he really?

That’s so lame lmao.

At the very least he’ll still be in our hearts

:relieved:

Yup. He’s gone.

Hopefully using the words censored incorrectly.

I don’t know how to tell you this, but I GUARANTEE that ERP is happening on pretty much every server. MG just has a reputation.

Secondly, I gotta admit that it’s kinda ironic how you’ll get all flustered about a portrait being turned into bowl of fruit and a mount being renamed - you’re all up in arms against censorship, but have it in for the ppl who care to ERP. I mean, make up your mind: do you want a censorship-heavy Hello Kitty Adventure Island, or do you want something a little more grown-up?

At any rate, getting rid of ERP would be next to impossible for a couple of reasons:

  1. ERP is merely a TYPE of RP. Measures implemented to censor ERP would more than likely affect RP in general as well. Case-in-point: the recent changes to emotes.
  2. RPers - and ERPers especially - are a particularly creative lot. If you think language filters, etc., are gunna stop them, you’d be quite wrong. They’d literally have to ban /s, /e, /p, /w
any kind of communication - altogether. At that point, you might as well log out and player a single player game.
