The Case for Unlocking All Race/Class Combinations

Ehh I think that was all frostmourne. In the dk class hall we were raising new horsemen and dks. I don’ see why they would have much distinction since they were born with the same magics, just different lich kings. Now I do think Dks should have more eye color options for example, but I wouldn’t tie that with when they were created.

I would just call Mag’har orcs Draenor orcs. Same skin tones just pick a different name and change there uncorrupted jokes, to little corrupted but not green jokes xD…
I would add identity tags so you can chose what you identify as. Some people wanted to be from Draenor and not Alt universe for example. And adding specific clans would be nice.

The Mag’Har are from AU Draenor, and their open cinematic explains EXACTLY why they never “went green” like their OG counterparts.

There’s no “a little corrupt” in them AT ALL, and that would make ZERO sense.

You can still become fel corrupted indirectly via continuous second hand exposer. The Frostwolves along with Orgrim Doomhammer didn’t drink the blood of mannoroth and they still became green. To the Mag’har, any touch of fel corruption on you means you are no longer a Mag’har.

If we added an identity tag system, that would help rpers branch out there characters ingame. For example. Wildhammer dwarves, right now you are just Ironforge/Bronzebeard dwarves with wildhammer tattoos, but with that system you could choose to rp as WIldhammer.

Same goes for Mag’har, they could have just Draenor orcs, add a fel-scarred skins like in WoD HFC, and just let people play what they want. Modify the joke to be “little corrupt but at least I didn’t go full fell”. And they could add the orc clans for identity tags too.
So instead of choosing Mag’har as your orcs identity you can specify black rock, or go generic Draenor Orc. Or Even further Blackrock Orc.

And yet, they willingly became what? Corrupted by MU Garrosh who was Mag’har through and through, except for when he consumed the heart of Y’sharr. And he corrupted the AU Mag’har after he was cleansed of that ridiculousness.

But hey, maybe we just have different ideas on what corruption actually means, eh?

You may, but the Mag’Har don’t.

(Side note: I can’t believe I’m defending Orcs. I feel dirty now.)

In WoD we had Orc warlocks with the Maghar skin tones, they had some fel but not enough to turn green.

I don’t recall seeing any Y’shaarj corruption during WoD. Again, Mag’har mainly means uncorrupted in relation to fel corruption. As it was the legion that destroyed their culture in the eyes of both the MU and AU Mag’har.

Even more so when one of us are making up crap because they have nothing to support them.

You can do that with the heritage armors. Mag’har has one for Warsong, Blackrock and Frostwolf.

They are not Mag’har orcs. Turning Green is not the only thing that fel corruption can do. The Fel Orcs we fight in TBC are red for example.

Mag’har means uncorrupted. There are no ifs or buts.

In Blackrock mountain they have black rock warlocks, you can not do that ingame bud. The fel-scarred skin tones would be nice for them, and access to that pet racial too.

Those are the MU Blackrock orcs, not the AU ones. The playable Mag’har orcs are the AU versions full stop.

The idea of NE mages is kinda cool. Arcane magic was banned for millennia, but in WotLK, the leader of the Shen’dralar had a little scripted argument with some NEs has he tried to gain an audience with Tyrande. Then in Cata they were accepted. You as the player got todo a little quest that talks about this, I think. Not sure if it is still in-game.

That is my point, you should be able to choose how you identify your character.

Then just ask blizzard to allow normal orcs the ability to have the blackrock skin tons. There you go. A blackrock orc warlock. The blackrocks did join the horde following Cata. Malkarok was one such one. However it is safe to assume that most Blackrock Orcs died with the “true horde” Garrosh tried to set up in MoP.

We did nothing of a god level though. In Zereth Mortis we’re just here to kill Zovaal.

Despite all our accomplishments we’re not First Ones, or titans or gods. We don’t possess the great magic or power of creation. We’re just regular people with sharp weapons and magic who know how to use them. Sometimes we temporarily acquire occasional super weapons, but nothing about us has changed.

Terrestrial threats are dangers all the same. If a vrykul walks up and stabs you then you’re going to die and that’s it, game over regardless of your skill level. If a dragon eats you then you’re also dead, which is a threat. It doesn’t matter if an enemy is from Azeroth or another dimension, the end result is we’re still fighting for our survival to stay alive on Azeroth and all these other beings/people have an issue with that.

And no sane person would look at Galakrond and think “Yeah I can solo that.” His terrestrial dragon booty could just sit down and it would crush Stormwind.

Mag’Har Orcs are AU Orcs.

There’s no grey area there.

Mag’Har MEANS uncorrupted.

There’s no grey area there.

If you want to play a “slightly corrupted Orc”, play a MU Orc.

Not sure why this is the hill you are willing to die on.

I think they should merge the orcs, let us pick the racials. The black rock racial and the mount speed racial and pet racial would be nice for warlocks. I did like that blackrock Legion follower. With the forge like head. Those are the types of Magh’ar locks that would be cool to play/identify and customize orc warlocks.

You cannot be a Mag’har warlock. They are an oxymoron. How can you be uncorrupted from fel magic if you USE FEL MAGIC?

What possible reason would they have for doing this?

This is no different to the story than Draenei, LF Draenei, Eredar, and Broken (two of which are unplayable).

Are you suggesting they should also merge Draenei with LF?

This is a game, I am not dieing on any hills. I just like the maghar skin tones and customization and racials and think warlocks would look cool on them. There transmog would already darken there looks. And I think it’s ridiculous pretty much all the other warlock races don’t have this excuse and don’t turn green with the fel radiation. … Where are the green humans? Green gnomes? Green Dwarves? Etc…
I think it’s silly to include the mag’har in this. And those warlocks that wished to use the new customization to be limited by the name.

Which is why I was in favor of mixing the options. They don’t need to identify as Mag’har, but they could still enjoy the cool skin tones/tattoos/ etc.
