I mean the game is fun in a way that people have fun.
If flasking is fun to people what does it matter?
You think 15 second boss kills are supposed to be a challenge?
They dont even have mechanics, they are literally defenseless raid fights.

PvE is never a challenge.
The only way it can be challenging is comparing to others.
Oh I hope they don’t do anything about flowers, the tears during naxx will be 100x tastier than they are now.
i mean if we go down a route of ‘this isn’t exactly fun right now’ and apply it to classic wow, ur going to end up pruning most of the game, flying from darnassus to tanaris on a 17 minute flight path is 100% part of the experience
then they can go out and earn em, buddy flasks don’t grow on trees.
Proving my point.
So to make it fair to everyone to compete vs everyone flasks should be affordable by everyone.
Nothing is stopping them. Just jump on your herb/alchemist and camp node spawns. Problem solved.
Life isn’t fair, neither are good games.
Part of the skill is rolling with what you have.
But why does a seasonal version of the game need to be like that?
Whats the point?
Not that I do this, but farming Manual Crowd Pummelers is way more obnoxious than farming gold for flasks.
MMORPGs like classic WoW are not about being fair
sounds like you want to play a MOBA.
there’s no need for everyone to be able to compete because doing so makes the game into compete simulator where you just queue up outside lucifron for 7 days and wait for ur frostbolt to get resisted and lose anyway
I mean we’ve had multiple changes to vanilla that make it worse in order to make ‘classic’ players feel more equal.
They are watering down the game and y’all are cheering it on.
why can’t all the retail players stop trying to change classic
It makes no sense, this is why TBC players should of had their own home.
They just throw a fit while in vanilla.
it honestly sounds like speedrunners and people who want to duplicate speed run guild strategies need some sort of sandbox server to go do it in and not try to do it in the middle of an mmo economy all at the same time, there is seemingly no interest in an mmo and only interest in how my numbers look the next time i get in a flame war on the forums and have to link my 9 second lucifron kill so i can tell someone they are a noob and be right
if (A) the ‘Black Lotus Mafia’ exists; and (B) the SOM changes to Black Lotus are added to Anniversary Fresh, it is still possible that (C) flask prices remain unchanged = true
if the prices for Black Lotii do go down, it’s possible that somebody (or group of somebodies) can still corner the market. sure, some players will farm DME or whatever to supply their own flasks, but not everybody is a herbalist, so the relative increase in the supply might not actually result in a proportional decrease in price.
which would be hilarious
the thing is that the desire for lotus becomes so strong that it tanks the entire herbalism skill to the point where nothing is worth anything except lotus which is a few g
but when you do this, you leave other consumes as extreme outlying problems, like now i can pick a dreamfoil and its 30s but my firewater is 26g, do i come to the forums and complain about every consume eventually?
Yea fresh tbc should have come first
Yeah i mean era sucks.
If it was up to me they would of went right to TBC.
The game is already watered down its the easiest version of the game
tbc just switches the problem, the flasks cost nothing but the scrolls and haste pots will murder you, terocone will be rarer than a wow player’s accountability and scrolls will be 38g, guess what will happen?
ppl will say “don’t scroll then”
and others will say “i cant just not scroll, its intended for me to scroll, wtf?”
