Rerolling class from balance druid, i’ll give mage a try… which mage spec is better for leveling?.. also, my friend play as unholy dk, I know that mage isn’t the best comp for DK, but which spec would have the best synergy for arena?
I’m new to mage so we would probably share the same experience, I’m currently leveling in Azura Span and playing a frost mage, its pretty easy and the slows are a massive bonus. Makes leveling a lot easier. As to PvP I have no idea haven’t went queued for that with any classes but melee.

Not going to lie, that Deep Breath spell of theirs looks amazing! I even catch my Arcane Missiles looking at those characters, each one wishing they could be as cool.
Mages are in a rough spot other than probably Arcane. So I could see people switching.
Frost is still the go to leveling spec though.
I think it’s a combination of many things. Mage forums have usually been a bit quieter than other forums for as long as I can recall, but it’s also partly because we never have any dev interaction or feedback here.
Most Mages can agree that DF isn’t providing the necessary changes, so complaining about it endlessly (and a lot of these are complaints that we’ve been making for years) is fruitless.
There’s also the fact that these forums are mostly self-regulated, and posters who are overly aggressive or post incorrect information are often chased away pretty quickly.
That’s also very possible. After 2 expansions of being ignored and having extremely poor gameplay features, I think it’s entirely feasible that a lot of long-time Mages are shifting off to other classes and there are fewer new people coming in.
Paladins?! I always had my suspicions they were reptilian scum hiding behind that shiny armor.

We are Wizards, not some hyperactive classes like Demon Hunter.
You need to go through the proper channels to start a valuable discussion, starting with an appointment
Right now i’m loving frost mage, way easier to level than my balance druid, I’m loving the rotation and spells, I can kill groups of enemies before they hit me or destroy my shield.

All of them are good just pick up Alter Time, Slow and 2/2 Cryo-Freeze asap you will be fine.
