The best addon that ever died

cant recall the name but there was a hunters addon which altered the audio files and every time you shot at an enemy it sounded like a railgun

That would be:

This was the only add-on that mattered the whole of legion. God I miss it.

WQGF, just cause it made world questing nice and streamlined. Blizz broke it with no good reason either.

and a bit of an Honorable mention for SVUI (SuperVillian UI). It’d be one I miss using most, but ELVUI is a fitting but boring substitute. SVUI also comes back around with varying levels of upkeep as well, so it could very well be back someday.

I was gonna say the same thing. When my sister came back to WoW briefly, she had a moment of silence for Gatherer. Man, I miss you, Gatherer.

One addon I wish would die, all healers must die.

Discord Action Bars were a lot of fun to use back in classic/bc.

There wasn’t much the mod couldn’t do. You could set action bars to change based on just about any condition. Out of combat, in combat, mounted, stealthed, druid form, and more could have their own loadout/action bar set up.

For me it was Advanced Tradeskill Window. I really loved that addon. I use Skillet now but it just falls short of ATW for me.

Nobody has mentioned SGI yet?

EpicMusicPlayer is still being updated i do believe.

Decursive, from vanilla.

You just clicked the button and it automatically decursed someone in your raid without having to target them. It was useful on whatever MC boss casted “Impending Doom” on everyone. When it got nerfed, it was a sad day for cheap raiders.

Npc scan. I miss that addon.

I loved Ogrilazy. I still have it, but it’s been many years since it was updated.

Kinda miss tauntmaster. Replaced my raid frames as a tank, and it would taunt what was aggroing the person, all without extra setup lol. Lazy as hell yes, but made life easy

“Be Quiet” an addon that turned off all of the awful talking head spam that this game has.

They broke it because it was an alternative for Server Hop. People would look for a place that can spawn a rare or an mining ore next to a WQ and join/leave WQ groups just to farm them.

I loved both addons, Server Hop helped a lot on farming rares and WQ Group Finder helped a lot on making WQs not as time consuming as it is.

I used to use Hide Player Arrow to disable it on the map but it hasn’t been updated in years. Leveling was more fun with it.

Oqueue.

It was an amazing addon for those of us with limited gaming time to quickly find a group and actually get things accomplished.
