lol noone thinks its working fine. literally noone. every single party ive been in for the past 3 months has complained about waiting forever for a party and how miserable not having rdf is. youre level 80 probably raid logging or sitting in dalaran. What back peddling? I withdraw nothing I posted. Everything I posted was objectively true or an opinion well supported by the evidence. You didn’t know how copy writes work and was wrong in everything you said about them. You didn’t know that the National Guard was a state controlled organization and thought the president had to mobilize them to deal with some state emergency. You didn’t realize that possession of property that doesn’t belong to you is a crime, for example you didn’t realize that it’s a crime to pick up money left on a road and you will be prosecuted if the amount is sufficiently significant to make it worth the government’s time. I stand by my opinion that you don’t know much about anything except how to drive a truck.

its been really terrible today. took me 7 hours to finally get a group together, circulating between 3 alts of various level ranges. every range was dead cuz of the holiday. other peoples holiday plans should not effect my ability to play when there are literally 100s of thousands of players online across all these servers

Interesting, you go into being nasty and namecalling while trying to claim someone else is bad. THIS right here is why people don’t like engaging in social interaction, not because of RDF, THIS. This kind of toxic outburst in a mostly civil debate is the kind of behavior that leads people into becoming more reclusive in MMOs and other multiplayer games. If I saw this kind of thing being said in a dungeon group I wouldn’t want to talk in it at all, except in RDF it’s easier to get a new group or replace the toxic troll we vote kicked out, but instead it’s so hard to get a group together we end up just putting up with this kind of behavior instead. Putting up with trolls because it’s harder to get a replacement or a new group does not help with the social experience of an MMO.
You don’t have RDF to blame for the decline in socialization in games, you have yourself to blame. If you want people engaging in better social interactions, it begins with you, not with removing a tool that literally brings people together and even helps low population servers have better group content.
