its so cringe how i have to sit here all day for house pulling stuff out and reposting to compete with other sellers to get stuff to actually sale. i waste 8 hours today trying to raise gold for this x-51 mount on the ah. soooo cringe
So are you suggesting that they somehow automate undercutting?
Can you imagine if large groups of sellers used this? It would just keep undercutting each other until everything was 1 copper.

Hrm I just toss stuff up for whatever the match price is then go about my day. It sells in the 2 day period most times.

Artificially setting your prices below the current lowest price actually makes it harder for your items to sell, counterintuitively.
Just put the items up at the current price and it will sell most of the time. If you undercut someone will often just undercut you.
So set it to auto-undercut by XXX gold until bidding reaches XXX gold?
the AH is not supposed to be your piggy bank. go play the game for 8 hours ,and you would make more. You are basically complaining that you are not able to set the market price of an item in a capitalist money system lol.
I overcut on auctions by 1c like the gigachad I am.
Or you can sell for way less so others wont wanna undercut
This is why I only sell pets. It might be a slower game but it’s a hell of a lot more civilized.
this whole discussion about undercutting… people are clearly still unaware how this works with “last in first out”, undercutting DOES NOT make you any more likely to sell your item than matching the price is, because you are already first…
I put my listings for 12 hours and repost afterwards if it doesn’t sell.
I ain’t got the time to watch my listings, cancel undercut items, pick up mail, and relisting.

Yeah it’s funny really. The people who repost lower just have more people posting at that same new price burying the first poster in the stack. Far better to just post at whatever the main going price is and let it sit. Just watch out for those people who post stuff super low hoping people will match them not paying attention so they can buy cheap.
