well that explains why the app isnt working, its waiting on the app to be updated. i had forgotten about the AH that you cant post to being part of it again.

On the plus side, not being able to list on the app means bots won’t undercut me every .0003 seconds. On the downside, the only reason I used mobile AH was to post items to sell in my down time - like sitting in the airport bored outta my skull because my flight’s been delayed. Or dorking around buying/selling during a boring phone conference.
I’d even be happy if the app chimes off when my items sell like it used to. A little dopamine kick to know some gold is flowing in would be nice.
I completely agree that the app is worthless. I was extremely excited like YES I can list my auctions when I’m watching a show or whatever or out and about…then I got to the end and it was like “Oh btw you can’t list auctions.” say what?
I won’t be downloading the app unless they add back “listing” things for sale. Sometimes I don’t want to load wow/take over my whole computer just to list some things and sometimes I just liked the mobility. Who cares if I’m still a paying member to the game if I more play on my phone/listing auctions than actual in game time? lol
But you are completely right. If they brought back the auction house HOW it was I’d be really happy with that.

It’s an improvement. But if you actually want people to use it, we have to be able to post auctions. That’s the point. Cancelling and re-posting to be the top spot.

One account to post. One account to shadow-bid to sucker people into thinking they can low bid something.
Also…have a host of accounts on phones, which are easier to set up in farms, to snipe.
If there’s any interaction with the AH other than to see what’s there or the status of your listings…it’s going to be a boon to botting.

And here it is 2024 the latest World of Warcraft expansion got released and not only is there no mobile auction house but there’s no companion app anymore either. Typical Blizzard lying to their customers again.
