Oh this isn’t about looks. The community is genuinely just BEING terrible right now. Well–a vocal portion of it anyway. The golden question is… Why is the CoC not being enforced strongly enough to prevent this from happening?
Surely if bigots keep making posts that aren’t at all clever and out themselves as such, the solution is a forum ban. But that’s clearly not happening, because we get a new topic Chauncey Screaming about this every minute.
So how do we do a little bit of activism and socially encourage Blizzard to y’know… moderate their forums better? That’s my question.

Oddly enough, they only really take action when something causes a stink on Reddit. They care more about their Reddit image than their own forum.

Well,the gms are here because a thread was taken out just awhile ago. I guess they are just waiting on those that do this to show up.
Who’s offended? Those of us who saw the inclusivity changes and moved on to more interesting things?

Doing this at all makes the game as a whole look bad. Not the Community.
They arent doing it cause it may be the right thing to do. Its simply pandering and PR. They will divide an already fractured community even more.

Reddit huh? I’ve seen the WoW Subreddit isn’t nearly as toxic as the forums, not that that’s saying much. Do they care about Twitter? I want to politely ask them uncomfortable questions about the platforms they’re giving reactionaries. 
Right! They definitely act quickly… when a line is crossed. But that line seems to be overly lenient, and my suspicion is that it’s a matter of Blizzard policy. They’ve likely been instructed to be lenient about this.
