I never said anything different,
And I’d normally agree with you, but you are wrong.
I’m a conservative and I’m none of those things.
Again, it’s fine to debate and argue and disagree, what you are trying to do (silence people of differing opinions) goes against the very message the left is sending out.
That’s, woefully inaccurate. I don’t know how any reasonable person could come away thinking that, unless you simply don’t know anything about the guy.
And using BLM as shield and knowing they will be protected and they know it. BLM doesn’t care what their supporters do, they’re too busy buying their million dollars mansion.
He’s definitely a fascist now; he was saying recently that he thinks Ron DeathSantis (who in some ways is even worse than Trump in my opinion—like maybe he’s slightly less insane and less likely to try to get people in Congress killed for not helping him steal the election but he’s at least as evil) should be president. The pandemic and moving to Texas seems to have rotted his brain; he used to have at least some good opinions, but not anymore
This is actually pretty accurate. A large portion of Republicans would probably agree with that. Almost all Democrats would also agree with that sort of thing.
This is very childish. Rush Limbaugh used to do that sort of thing before he passed away. So, I guess you’re more like those rascally Republicans than you might like to admit.
It’s pretty lame to say that a person is like their political opposition, not because of any ideological or political positions, but merely because of matters of aesthetic and rhetoric.
Like, the primary problem with Rush Limbaugh was the fact that he was using his rhetoric to advance misogynistic, racist, and otherwise regressive policy positions and politicians, not that he said mean or dumb stuff.
If they co-opt modes of attack, then why isn’t it realistic to say that they’re alike? We had to listen to left leaning people call right leaning people snowflakes just a few days ago, and where did that term originate?
So, no, it’s not lame. She’s every bit a Republican as Republicans are a Democrat. They just chose different sides of a field, while playing the exact same game.
So, branding a large group of “others” as ideologically impure, is a bad thing?
