The anniversary event requires way too much grinding EDIT: New changes make the event much better!

Grinding is what I did to get to 40 from 38 in BC when I ran out of yellow quests. The word you’re looking for is timegating.

Yea- I’m over it. I’m free from the grind. The T2 aren’t worth my time. I have plenty of better transmog

I already got everything I wanted from the 20th anniversary event with the new brutosaur, so I’m happy now.

haha, falling right in line like you’re suppose to /highfive

You have 3 months.

? people are doing all these activities they wouldn’t normally do, for 1-3 tokens for doing 5 dungeons, or 3 delves. And they’re hard capped at 30-40 a week by this.
And that’s the people who can login everyday. That’s not the majority.

That runs out of steam after week 1.

If they want it all, they’ll go past week 1.

this is such a stupid take

It the 20th anniversary for a game that has had rep grinds literally from the beginning and you’re surprised the event has a grind? What planet are you from?

respect our time… 10 weeks is plenty of time. If you don’t have 10 weeks to do some weekly quest that’s on you.

What people want, weighed against mundane tasks to get them means interests wanes reeaall quick. I only wanted 3 sets. Couldn’t care less at this point I have 20 xmog sets that look great.
My precious time is already stretched to get eight +10s in each week for actual character progression. I might not even get eight in now that I’ve wasted time grinding 40 bronze this week. Not worth my time. And I’m only 1 reasonable dude. There’s more like me. See the forums.

I’m at 45 tokens, getting my first tier set next week and the second set the week after where I’ll also unlock more stuff to farm more tokens. Where are you getting 3 weeks from?

So what do you propose?

Haven’t dabbled with it yet, but from what I read it does seem like the rewards are deliberately drawn out.

I know, it is a two month long event, but it just feels like there is no reason for it to take two months to get what you want.

Let the bronze drop from what we’re choosing to do for fun when we login to this game. 1-3 bronze per dungeon. 1-3 bronze per BG. 1-2 bronze per raid boss past LFR.
Live, Laugh, Warcraft.

It’s such an obvious idea too, lol. That’s an actual celebration. Not that there shouldn’t be a the droll little camp with the mini-games, but getting a new currency for doing what you already enjoy, that you then get to go spend on cool, fun collectables, is absolutely a better flow. It’s like it’s a celebration event for collectors only.

Since always, frankly?

I mean, I get that maybe we should define it a little more clearly, but this is not a new colloquialism.

I hate daily quests just let me get coins from raids and m+ so I can passively get a set or two and its a win in my book. Rather it would be a massive win if it worked like the trading post.

It’s hardly even a mild grind at worst lol chill pupper

I got the Cold-something-or-rather mount and I’m out. Geez that peanut gallery achievement was pure pain.
