We accepted goat people with tentacle faces, werewolves, humanoid bears, and shadow-magic wielding elves also with tentacles in their hair.

We don’t judge races based on what they look like. We judge them based on their values, and the Jinyu (and by extension the Ankoans) have already been accepted by the Alliance specifically due to their value systems.

You accepted the Draeni because they have a space ship. What medieval age society turns away the space men?

The worgen and bears are just transformed humans and as for the void elves, puhleaze they’re just another elf, and half the Alliance is made up of weebs.

No they’re not? Unless you’re implying the entire Alliance thinks the pandaren are humans in fur suits or that they’re some kind of druid form gone wrong.

…which would be hilarious, but no.

The Alliance doesn’t just accept any elf that strolls by. relations with the high elves were famously strained for years which led to the whole ‘blood elves joining the Horde’ thing. Also, void elves are scorned by the Church of the Light. Seriously, walk into the church while playing as a void elf. You get some very interesting comments.

Speaking of which…

Depending on the power of the church in said medieval society it would be supremely easy to construct a narrative that the space-men are agents of the devil. Considering the relationship between the draenei and the eredar in WoW lore, the supreme commanders of the demon army, that characterization ironically wouldn’t be very far off.

Ankoan would make an amazing addition to the alliance. The customization for them already looks awesome with the different colors/body types/faces and bioluminescent patterns. I’m surprised they don’t seem to be considering this.

Alliance has too much of the same. Fat humans, furry humans, small humans, short humans and regular humans. Adding races like the Ankoan or the broken (missed opportunity imo) would help shake things up a bit.
