This is why I stopped caring about the WoW story post-Lich King. I’ve found much more respect in FFXIV’s story and the fact that they planned the whole ARR to Endwalker saga over 6 years without retconning anything, while giving players what they want - emotion, excitement, epic dragons and other creatures, etc. The current wow writers have an agenda and its not a good one.
