Dath’remar is the one who saved Tyrande from Azshara’s prison. Without him the War of the Ancients likely would have been lost. What the hell do you mean he’s an escaped criminal? In your weird world view is prison breaking someone a criminal act regardless of context or something?
The night elves were of course rightfuly wary of the use of Arcane magic, but at the same time, Mages, including highborne, including the Moon guard, were also part of the armies that faced the Legion.
While arrogance and pride is the defining mark of the highborne (and therefore, high elves, blood elves and void elves), “no magic or exile” is also a very extremist view that was imposed during the Long vigil, and since they were exiled, all they could do was to find a new home where they could be free. And it seems they managed to practice magic without any downsides until the third war.

People(at least enough) have been asking for dwarves on the Horde side. Hell, I remember saying a long time ago I wouldnt have minded in the Dark Iron went to them after all that stunt Moira did.
I would argue that the Nelves are by no means free from that sin either though.

They kinda are, some more than others. But yeah, the thing with night elves is that they have been humbled many times before (and that also applies to the blood elves of modern day and void elves) so that quality is counterbalanced a bit.
Like, Maiev was probably the most prideful and arrogant Night Elf in lore (non highborne) and even she is just more thoughtful nowadays.
Creates an empire by forcefully converting everyone to be their vassals.
Summons demons to thirst fore more powers.
Almost destroys planet.
Cries that everyone hates them for no reason.

The highborne did assist Azshara, but a lot of them also worked in the rebellion against Azshara and the legion. The ones that were in Kaldorei society were part of the rebellion.
The overall night elf population never rebelled when Azshara started to dominate all lesser races with glee. They worshipped her until the betrayal. That makes them accomplices at worst and ignorant at best.
Thats nice and I’m glad for you and everyone else that wanted them.
I simply have no interest in making one. I would prefer more classic Horde races, like Ogres and Forest Trolls, becoming playable.

I was slightly sold on the Horde earthen when one seemed to be horrified at the dwarves treatment of the land
Not many people even play the dwarves we already have.
Dwarves are like trolls and gnomes. There are people who are very vocal about liking them, but hardly anyone actually plays one. Earthen will likely have the same fate despite being playable on both factions.

all alliance races strip mine the land they have to build their civilization, Dwarves and humans are the same in that matter.
Dwarves are literally the only race that has strip mines in game. What are you talking about?

Personally I have one normal Dwarf and one DI. More than enough for me. I am happy for those who really wanted Earthen or Dwarves in the Horde, but I won’t bother making one, at all.
It’s unfortunate because there are way more important, interesting and requested races imo that have clear priority over the Earthen.
