The Aluminum Foilo is going to massacre PvP

I know nobody considers pvp when designing this stuff but you can’t just give a giant defensive bubble that lasts 10 seconds on a 30 second cooldown to everybody.

they could have it disabled in pvp and call it a day… eventually

Yeah but they won’t. None of the other borrowed power systems were disabled in pvp.

PvP is already turbogarbo, why not wait to see what this does instead of panicking about maybe breaking something that’s already been broken for 20 years?

I enjoy pvp and if you did too hen you wouldn’t need to “wait and see” what effect it would have, you’d already be able to tell

Is PVP still a thing?

Nope, not even close. A design philosophy revolving around preventing people from playing a video game is the opposite of what my superior standards are looking for in gaming.

They didn’t work well though and weren’t worth using as far as I remember.

That’s a good thing. Pvp just needs to be dumped in the bin where it belongs.

Did you miss the part where it also does damage to you?

Honestly, I don’t even understand the purpose of crap like that. Who wants to deal with yoyo’ing health bars?

Why are we getting dumb stuff like this? Owait… people liked that dumb corruption crap from BfA. :expressionless_face:

No, and that doesn’t matter, and don’t be glib

… I wasn’t. I was just asking a question. And then adding how dumb the whole thing is.

Geebus. Calm down.

Gets nerfed by 50-80% and becomes just another passive you don’t think about it

Don’t worry about it

Unfortunately they do. I cannot wait for the day PvP is completely ignored for all ability design. Remember years of priests being the only class not being able to have an interrupt because of some 3v3 arena balance?

Playing wow for the pvp is like playing Overwatch for the pve.

Historically these type of enhancements are disabled in rated pvp just like food/flask buffs

Because being a lame raider who just has to memorize a set of movements and rotations like a robot is SOOOOOOO fun lol. PVE is lame AF.
