There just isn’t a point to sharding Dynamic respawns make much more sense, plus those crowded zones aren’t really that bad, once you hit about 5-6 and people spread out, worse case you grind some mobs for a bit. Most people just form groups of 5 for a named quest everyone waits there turn poof it’s done.
The cap pop is only like 3-4k on retail vanilla i’ve done it on 10k P servers trust me, it’s not as bad as you’re making it out to be unless you’re playing day one, and well that’s expected.
It’s not going to matter in the long run, regardless of you personal opinion. It’s just a short term fix. And if you are that upset, then there’s the door, leave to a pirated server, no one will miss you.
And short term fixes have a history of becoming permanent. We’ve already seen blizzard move the goal posts from no sharding in classic to sharding at launch.
As long as people continue to advocate for sharding to be expanded I will continue to voice for sharding to be as limited as possible.
Not my problem, I had zero expectations of them making it “100% as classic” when they said “as close to classic as possible”. Maybe you need better reading comprehension skills, cause I definitely know a 10 year old would know the difference compared to you.
I wouldn’t mind a paid early access. I’d gladly pay it, and I know many won’t - which to me, would kind of be the point.
Releasing Classic on the same day as a major patch for BfA is probably out of the question for Blizzard. I’d expect them to release the game during a content drought, where subscriptions typically dip.
