The hardcore factionbrainers don’t want warmode, they want to force everyone into wpvp., completely unable to fathom why pvp servers were dying and why warmode isn’t that popular as a vehicle for actual pvp.

Eeeh plenty weren’t. Horde is basically absent from Wrath after the start of act 3 even though 2 core races had more reason than any other to be there for example, with Blood Elves shoved in a B plot about dragons (thankfully the b plot about dragons is a better written story than ICC).

It has nothing to do with PvP.
That Alliance players don’t even realize that is why there can’t even be a conversation about this.
Faction walls need to go back up.

That would just ensure everyone is miserable. What they need to do is go back to the two seperate questlines model.

The two separate questlines model was part and parcel of the storylines that made players the most miserable.
Nobody was “miserable” until Blizzard added the Hall of Fame and Alliance players who didn’t even raid were suddenly embarrassed about how slowly the Alliance HoF filled up.
That’s the ONLY REASON that cross-faction is in the game.

All they need is little modifications… like why is the Horde buying rounds for Alleria, Anduin and Faerin?
The Alliance version should be as is.
The Horde version should be the Horde sit at the bar and Anduin calls them over to sit with them.
Same outcome but at least the Horde PC isn’t acting like he’s a bonafide member of the Alliance.

It would take a lot more than that. This entire expansion is one-sided to the core.
Just look at the focus of the 4 zones:
- Dwarf
- Dwarf
- Human
- Nerubian
Would it have killed them to replace one with a Horde-themed racial zone?
The Arathi make no damn sense in the first place…
If they really wanted to do a “surface dwellers were washed underground and started a subterranean kingdom for god-only-knows-what-reason”, it could have been anybody. Make it a bunch of Orcs or whatever.

We have a zone, but it’s not an interesting one. You should have paid attention to it while leveling in the last zone.
