I haven’t done anything but get a vault reward bro.

Give me some damn time. Calm down turbo.

Edit:

Lots of time actually because I’m just gonna do more normal routine before any of that.

I’m still messing around in Dorn.

I haven’t left yet.

Gonna get my mind right and then go see what the fuss is all about.

Minor doesn’t have to be bad

This patch is bad

I never go to those new zones on the first day. They’re a cluster fridge.

Is this real, or are you having one over on us?

With the greatest degree of respect that’s possible…
Folks on GD spam that about literally EVERY patch. Even before folks have played, seen, or even heard of the patch in question - it has already been called “bad”, “worst one yet”, “literally Shadowlands”, and any myriad of other derogatory (mostly things at least somewhat permitted by the CoC) things to say.

Most patch content is pretty bad to be fair, outside the new raids and dungeons the last somewhat interesting zone was mechagon maybe?

But on this one is exceptionally bad, because it’s just recycled off another bad patch nobody liked before, yet they’re doing it again

Why has everyone all of a sudden forgot that X.X.7 patches are literally the most minor patches Blizzard release during an expansion. They aren’t major patches like 11.1 or 11.2, or even minor patches, like 11.1.5.

In fact, getting an entire new zone for an X.X.7 patch is quite insane and can’t imagine why anyone would complain.

huh, thought it was the 60s but wikipedia says 46-58.

Huh

8 hour patch time for a “minor” patch seems awfully long.

Bikini atoll nuclear testing was 1946 to 1958.

1946 thru 1958, 23 nuclear devices were tested over 7 distinct sites.
To this day, the original inhabitants are unable to return to their homes, but it’s open to tourism!

We’ve… known most of what was coming from PTR for awhile. Why are you surprised? Its a minor patch and not meant to be a huge thing.

They liked you, so they put a ring on you!

And again, this has been stated about literally every single patch and thing in WoW. Vague complaints about “it is recycled” or anything like that means literally nothing.

Folks just like to complain and not say anything of value, which means that those opinions both can and should be disregarded because… what’s the issue you have with it? It is a small island with activities to engage with, and from what I have seen folks mention (as I haven’t played it yet myself) it seems to be a mix of Mechagon and the Forbidden Reach. You said you felt like it was bad because it recycled previous content but you said you also found Mechagon interesting. So is it a bad patch because we get a ring from it, is that it?
Do you see the larger point I was trying to make, that even you who are engaging with me have said nothing of substance except “patch = bad” which is the same thing everyone has been saying about every patch (from major and small ones)?

It is a small patch to carry us over, somewhat, 'til the next major patch. That’s all there is to it. I don’t get why one should or would care about it beyond that if one dislikes it, and if one likes it … figure out what parts and why and engage more with that.
