Some part of me views his situation as a comeuppance for how condescending and how big of a douche he was to people in the past when they pointed out the story was trash, the characters were inconsistent, and retcons were exactly what was happening.

But eh, being petty is kinda lame. It took him longer to get here than some of us, but welcome to the tent for miserable and jaded former Blizzard fans.

I agree. He does come across as condescending a lot of the time. I don’t think I’d care for him as a person IRL, and I wasn’t someone who watched him all the time. BUT, there’s no denying how much of a fan he was, and how much heart and soul he put into WoW and his videos. Others who claim he’s about clicks and following the crowd, or that those of us defending him are “sheep” for agreeing with him couldn’t be further from the truth. They’re just looking for a reason to criticize.
