QFT man… Horde just don’t seem to have jobs, school, or any sort of life outside of warcraft that so many have the time to fritter away in a 2 hour queue.
You’re absolutely right… if less horde players queued, their times would drop…
I play a lot, and I have the time to sit and wait around for BG’s… but NO WAY am I sitting longer than 10 minutes. I unsubbed when they added the artificial queue to AV because of the fake 5 min wait.

Spending more time in queue than actually playing the bg, but “we never lose”.

Were you only queued for AV, or were you you running other BGs, while that queue went to 2 and a half hours?

The #nochanges is just stupid. I play both Alliance and Horde. It’s an absolute dumb situation. Alliance 100% lose every match while Horde have 90-120 minute queues. As players, we can point fingers at each other all we want, but it’s lose-lose for both sides.
Some little things like moving the Horde gate back to the retail spot would be a start. Or open the gate for Alliance a few seconds earlier.

I don’t AV anymore at all, so I’m doing my part. Seriously though for the sake of both sides, we should just have horde v horde at this point and be done with it. 80 players Q in, randomize teams and fire it up. I think the #nochanges outrage would be drowned out by happy players. AV in its current state is such a dumpster fire for all involved.

yes, merc mode is a hard fix for queue inbalance.

Merc mode doesn’t belong in Vanilla. Horde wanted ez mode and long queues, they got them. You can always take your own advice and reroll or quit Horde.

I don’t think it should purely be horde v horde, whoever happens to Q in together, just randomize the teams. Alliance win rates would shoot up to 50% (more or less), and horde would have short q times…what’s the problem here.
Give alliance a chance to win some games and let horde actually play, win win. Alliance that are just doing AV for rep could be in and out much faster, and it might bring back oodles of alliance that can actually get honor from the BG with the change.
BGs are already completely different than vanilla (xrealm), let’s just take it one logical step further and make the masses happy.
Once again, I don’t play AV so it won’t effect me either way, I’m just tired of the complaining from both sides.
Or you could reroll an alliance toon to get your pvp fix and get your instant ques?
Same thing really. A group of players focused on pvp on both sides queing up for AV?
If you miss your “my aesthetics” so badly you could take a screen shot of your current toon and put it on your second monitor or phone desktop!

The re-roll argument is a tired one, why don’t you re-roll so you can actually win AV? We need systemic changes, even if an entire server decided to re-roll alliance it would barely put a dent in the numbers disparity.
Once again- this ain’t about me. I can open world pvp, play AB and WSG if I want to with super short Q times. This is for the casuals that want to play AV on both sides. Why don’t you want alliance win rates to go up??
Because there is no reason for me to play AV anyway. I don’t need anything from there, and now AB is out so I can get my PVP fix there instead.
AV matches take too long. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
