So, after 15+ years of playing. Your telling us in the next expansion you are deleveling all our characters to level 50? Do you not think that is seriously wrong? Look, We have already leveled. What makes you think that taking away basically 58% of our leveling over the past 15+ years is a good thing? Will you be returning 58% of the money we have shelled out for this game? I know that answer is a big fat no. Dropping our levels is UNACCEPTABLE !

The level of ignorance here is staggering.
I don’t know how many times this can be said: the level number is arbitrary.
Your character will still have all of the same equipment, talents, abilities, etc. If it would make you feel better, I’m sure that someone will make a mod to change the 60 to a 120 on your screen.

the levels mean nothing. this is a non issue. how much dps does Lv 90 give you? how much healing does Lv 110 give you? the levels mean absolutely nothing. they could just abolish levels altogether and not add anymore and we will still have to do all of the zones storylines to unlock flying anyway.
when shadowlands launches if they didnt do a squish we would of gone from november 13 2014 ( WODS launch ) through to almost the end of 2020 and still have not seen a new talent added to the game. considering a 2+ year xpack cycle, that will have been over 8-9 years by the time the end of shadowlands rolls around where we might have seen a new talent.
if theres no new talent point added to the game in the xpack AFTER shadowlands, thats over 9 years of no new talent tree additions. they have just been removing things for almost a decade. not adding things. we get rented systems, but nothing new added.
holinko who is the new class dev is restoring some old flavour spells to the game, but still nothing NEW added to the game. nothing we get to keep. im sure as hell my monk wouldnt of magically forgotten how to strike of the windlord. and moving into shadowlands im magically going to forget how to open palm strike too.
what i would give for holinki to change the talent trees into something like from GW2. something with flavour and depth and customisation. but i think most of the real talent at blizzard have all retired or jumped ship to other studios now.

Do you not understand everything stays exactly the same except the number across the board are crunched so they look smaller to make it easier to expand on? You lose NOTHING.
