Dear WoW decision makers:

Since the clear and obvious design intent of “leveling should take time in the current expansion,” I have been bracing for y’all to close the “loopholes” that I was afraid would be treated like exploits to be more effort economical in leveling alts, but instead I woke up to this in my guild discord:

Thank you. Thank you so much! I love doing the delve world tour lap on every alt (not being sarcastic, I enjoy it a lot) and grabbing all of the easily attained dungeon quests to then do in follower dungeons. I will now also look at doing more leveling via prey on classes where it won’t be a slog!

Thank you for supporting effort-economical owning of one’s time in the leveling game. I really wanted to drop some positive feedback on this because it very much affects how I play and I was afraid you’d choose to go the other way!

I’m not sure that’s the obvious design intent.

Given the change above, I think they just want to encourage players to play the game organically, rather than just grind stuff or afk through an event as examples.

You can see this also in the stacking warband +XP bonus they introduced for getting toons to cap.

Wish I had seen sooner but yay! I am also happy for the Prey weekly quest xp buffs. Centrally located and easy to pick up.

Someone suggested (hoped) the xp buff could come sooner like in a hotfix. I would like that but will take what I can get.

I saw patch 12.0.7 predicted as dropping June 16th.
