so whats the expected time frame of removal after being reported? in every area where mobs have a % to drop edgemasters there are bots, i reported 3 60 mages in feralas killing harppies weeks ago yet they are still thete this mornimg, same with south of tanaris thistleshrub valley, horde and ally bots reported yet no action still there farming, & we all know how bad felwood is. All well and good to make this post but wirhout a detailed plan of action our reports are still falling of deaf ears…

You just lost a load of normal legitimate subscribers and tainted the Blizzard brand further because you glazed the issue then lied obviously because if anything you just suggested worked it wouldn’t be the issue it is today. And why are you lawyer-speaking for bots? Potential? SO CALLED? Alleged?

It’s funny Blizzard asks us to report bots when players report entire guilds for same faction blocking the BWL orb, people Afking through entire AVs, world boss griefing, and other parts of the game that go unaddressed. But sure, we’ll help you with this one part of the game that you care about because you aren’t the ones making money off it.

This just feels like a slap in the face you can /who literally any 30+ zone and see the bots they’ve given up making names there are so many of them. Any instances we have to sit through 500-1k q’s so that you can make money off Chinese gold farmers how about banning some of those fun IPs… that are consistently getting flagged. I doubt it tho that bottom line right?

Unfortunately I think they see subs as potential customers of the in game shops. Classic is an easy spike in subs that they hyped and dropped. Proper pump and dump if you will.

Everyone replying is actually dense. They think you want to be able to instantly ban cheaters. No that is not what we want. We want anti cheat to actually works. We want to remove no clipping and fly hacks. Its really not too much to ask. Private servers could do it so why cant blizzard.

i’ve reported the same botters and hunter herb farsight hackers weekly, every time i see them in the world, for 6 months. they are still there using scripts to steal and hoard black lotus. i could likely log on right now and /who and see them online right now.

This is pretty spot on, an nails the entire issue in neat package.
They are clearly incapable or unwilling to do what is needed to do better than what we currently experience.
Economies an absolute wreck, bloated populations necessitating queues and layering, and attempting to level legitimately severely hampered by lack of living mobs.
This is what they are charging us $15 a month for.

Lock all servers to people who’s IP is outside that region. Make them play in their own region. That’ll tell you who’s responsible for most of the botting

This is a lie. I’ve reported multiple bots with no repercussions FOR WEEKS after the report. How about you re-hire those customer service people you fired and fix your games?

Been reporting the same pvp bot that was grinding WSG rep back in Feb till it got exhalted then again in AB. My favorite bots are the ones that zone in and stay at the starting point and cant be kicked right away because they need the AFK debuff before the you are being removed in 60 seconds debuff.
My favorite bots are the ones who sit at mobs that drop Edgemasters. They’re all over the world just farming one single mob for an eternity. The fact that blizzard can’t even recognize these players are botting is a JOKE. No sane human can play more than 48+ hours at a time. Actually, I’m pretty sure it’s impossible.
Why doesn’t blizzard ban based on logged in time? Runescape has done this for years and it catches the botters red handed that are careless.
