Correct! which means the solution is to stop RMT, not ban GDKP. Banning GDKP does nothing because gold as a currency still exists, and is still wanted.
You could go the RuneScape solution from years ago, and just ban all trade, as they believed it would solve bots and RMT. Wonder how that worked out for them.
