Thank you Blizzard!

Having the class I enjoy get gutted and dragged through the mud has greatly decreased my enjoyment of this game. I used to spend 40 hours a week doing M+, now I’ve basically forced myself to d a few keys with only a couple of 8’s timed. I used to go HARD, push way past 3k, etc.

There are a lot of small things that contribute, but one BIG thing that made me shift. That is arcane, my favorite spec and the only one I really want to play, getting absolutely gutted and dragged through the mud from the back of a truck for 5 miles.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE if they reverted most of these changes, put us back to the middle of the pack (or even a little lower) and just LEFT US ALONE.

Personally, for me, they deleted the game I enjoyed – M+

Maybe I’ll feel a little better with the buffs next week but the rotation still doesn’t feel satisfying like it used to.

The bigger issue for me is that this is a constant thing with Blizzard. I don’t know how long you’ve played, but arcane is always going through this. Every class has their moment in the sun and moments of despair, but arcane seems to continually languish in the latter, being borderline unplayable for the vast majority of WOW’s existence.

I honestly don’t know what it is either. Do they not know what to do with it? Do they hate the spec? Is it perennially on the list of complete reworks like Demonology and just never gets past the finish line? I can see a case for any of those. Everyone at some point or another asks “does Blizz hate my spec?” Most of those are overreactions to a nerf or being untouched for some extended period of time and considered hyperbole by the community. But with arcane it really seems like that’s the case.

What would be nice is to actually get more than an absurd one liner (even a paragraph will do) about what they think of the spec and why they are so quick to destroy it yet so slow to fix their screw ups. Things like “we’re happy with the changes” don’t help and only further alienate players.
