Horde players who can’t play BGs and grind honor are far more likely to just quit rather than roll Alliance - I’ve seen it. I’ve have not seen anyone reroll Alliance to be able to BG, they just quit. People should be able to play whatever aspect of the game they want and shouldn’t be punished for picking the faction they like. If your goal is to balance factions on servers by making people quit- you just might be the baddies.
And it will always be that way. People get weary of playing on teams that , don’t communicate, continuously try the same strat that has failed countless times, have a high afk rate, are constantly berating their team mates, even reporting those who try.
Indeed, it is a player created issue.
They don’t care.
One faction game, let’s go.

I love how your effort to sound smart makes you sound totally naive with that example. Could you imagine transferring to a faction that by definition has runaway inflation and the only means to make gold to cover the inflation is to BG? Who would transfer?
People who are “good” at the game already mostly went horde. Still, there are many good plays who went alliance, they didn’t for the BG queues but for personal preference (aesthetic, racials - yes alliance racials aren’t terrible, friends, etc.). Your post just seems like a lot of salty self gratification - very comical - assuming you play Alliance.
Okay, fine. If this is what we’re doing at least get rid of the silly masks (they just look stupid) and just make the opposing faction have the true appearance of the faction of whichever base they they’re assigned.
Mostly. Now it will be almost completely. There will be almost no good PvPers on Alliance a few months after this goes live.
Alliance players flagging posts like world masters already
Most people already committed to a faction and will not change - especially since faction changes aren’t an option. This scaremongering isn’t grounded in reality.
Lots of PvE people have no idea how PvPers think and operate.
in the last 2 resets we have seen the alliance pop change from 41% of pvp realms to 38%, there is certainly a pop shift happening
Not sure who you’re referring to with this - but definitely check my armory. Feel free to share your main’s.
Alliance PvP population is crashing before their eyes. They don’t care. Content locusts will destroy faction PvP to get their fast queues right now.
Congrats on picking literally the worst possible ‘solution’ everytime to every ‘problem’ that has come up in TBC Classic so far. You’ve mismanaged TBC Classic into the ground but clearly that was always your intention as shown by your decisions.
RIP Alliance
RIP Faction balance on PvP Servers
Their data has to be wrong, there is no way win rate between horde and alliance was 50%. I would say it was much closer to 70/30 in horde favor. This has nothing to do with the system obviously. Ally generally stinks unless premading.
The stats they released are vague and incomplete. They’re obviously not being transparent. They’re just setting the stage for a change they already decided on.
They literally pulled numbers out of their behind and expect us to just put up with a retail feature from Legion being added to TBC to only help out the Horde, meanwhile Alliance get shafted even further and no compensation. There is no reason or benefit to playing Alliance over Horde anymore. This kills the game by killing server populations.
no way the win rates were 50/50 , what a load of bs.
They did say close to 50/50. Their wording leaves enough room for several subjective Boeing 747s to fly through side by side.
Yeah. I want to see their work.
