Play whatever spec you enjoy. WoW is a video game played for fun. Something a lot of people have forgotten.
This man wants to force his beliefs onto us. BURN HIM!
Yes this is a video game we play for fun, it is also a video game we often play with others.
So sure play whatever spec you want, but don’t be surprised if you pick a horrible spec and others don’t want to play with you.
Eh I don’t see how bug fixes and class tweaks means MC and BWL are nerfed? No direct changes to these instances.
Just because you can doesn’t mean you should. In the words of the immortal Chris Rock, “You can Drive a car with your feet but that don’t make it a good %#^* idea”.
Which isn’t what I said, perhaps you need better reading comprehension? That might also help you spec better.
Which isn’t what I said
Sure…
So sure play whatever spec you want, but don’t be surprised if you pick a horrible spec and others don’t want to play with you.
Ziryus:Which isn’t what I said
Sure…
You think that speccing is a binary choice between a horrible spec and a perfect spec?
You think that speccing is a binary choice between a horrible spec and a perfect spec?
I think your definition of a ‘horrible spec’ is irrelevant.
Please announce the name of your guild so that it can be avoided by people playing the game for entertainment.
Ziryus:You think that speccing is a binary choice between a horrible spec and a perfect spec?
I think your definition of a ‘horrible spec’ is irrelevant.
So you do think that speccing is a binary choice between terrible and perfect.
Weird isn’t one of the things that people claim is so great about the old talent system being that there are a lot of options?
What bosses did you down
So you do think that speccing is a binary choice between terrible and perfect.
Please find the post where I state that.
Go ahead.
I’ll wait.
I feel bad, though, for the people who get told “play what you like” and translate that to “and others should accept you.”
Those two things are wholly unrelated.
That is a good thing, as no one is remotely saying the latter.
Ziryus:So you do think that speccing is a binary choice between terrible and perfect.

Sure, here you clearly state that either a spec is perfect or it’s terrible.
So sure play whatever spec you want, but don’t be surprised if you pick a horrible spec and others don’t want to play with you.
Remember folks: Unless you spec perfectly for your class (all 51 talent points), you wil never ever get a raid slot. Or if you do, you will bring the rest of the raid down and you should be ashamed of yourself.

I’d rather a player that is always excited, brings cheer to the team, and is always working hard to improve than a good player that brings nothing but numbers and doesn’t care about the guild.
You’re just giving me the same bad argument, only dressing it up differently this time. Like I said, it’s a false dichotomy because there are plenty of players who will both be positive towards the raid and play a workable class.
Sure, here you clearly state that either a spec is perfect or it’s terrible.
Apparently you missed a crucial part of that post…reading comprehension indeed.

/shrug you were the one who presented it as a binary choice between either a perfect spec or a terrible spec.
Please tell me what nerfs MC and BWL received?
I mean…I had those raids on farm. The hard part about them was learning the fights. And even though it has been like 14 years and I don’t remember some of the bosses names, the fact that I remembered my mages exact keybindings, when I mage wasn’t my main or even second favorite alt, tells me the mechanics of those fights would come back to me pretty quickly.
But I don’t even plan on raiding so I don’t know why I even care about this thread. Other than the fact that rigid elitism and rigid rejection of elitism always amuses me.
