Why, when most of the races have fallen from the ugly tree & hit every branch coming down?
All the men are ugly so apparently Azeroth is going to die out because no one will love our hideous bastards. =P
I love what ya did so far. Still are some more improvements that can still be added.
- Nightborne: They need those smug NPC faces, ear options, jewelries, and more skin colors.
- Orc/Mag’har: Fangs and grime options for females, ears option, necklaces for males (at least the skull one)
- Vulpera: Turf hairstyles (not much, something like Lick style or Tails’ grass style. color is part of the fur colors)
- Blood/Void Elves: Add dreads, afro and high top hairstyles
- Panderan: Males should also have a tail option.
- All males should have necklaces options if the females counterpart have them.
- Add fore and suffix names (so people can use taken first names as long as their last names are different)
Also, consider doing creative design contests for your community. For new hairstyles, original Trial of Style sets, even pets for charities.
just spit balling ideas here. But I am enjoying these new stuff.
I would tell my story, but some options are segregated from others.
History repeats itself.

Here’s my story… my blacksmith was going to make a set of vanilla gear at a measly item level of 87 so a plate-wearing alt would be prepared for Shadowlands… looking buff in a classic, iconic set of gear.
But nay… when pre-patch landed and we all lauded our new looks… a stealth nerf hit crafting like one of the most wretched and vile stenches to turn every stomach asunder… The relics of the past are now… a thing of the past and the crafting of old gear had to pay the price.
You guys need to come clean on this. I don’t even mind if you claim it was a bug but you need to fix the crafting with relics of the past right now.
I was so pumped for scars until I found out it completely changed the skin tone too. Not cool.
I’ve tried a couple of times to customize my Worgen at the Barbor shop and it seems to be bugged. When I try to change appearances between my Worgen and Human forms it still changes the features of the other. Then I try to pay the Barbor and it doesn’t do anything.
You can get around this by choosing your worgen features, as normal; and then using the arrows to select your human features (instead of the drop-down list)
Not sure why Blizz would even bother to link them. Or why they decided to restrict human faces based on skin colour (props to them for the backward attempt at virtue signalling, though.)
I logged on my Nightborne and did absolutely nothing.
Since you know, the allied race with some of the most minimal crap customizations got absolutely nothing…fun.
And for the ppl who say “oh let regular races get love”
Nightborne already had LESS than other “regular” races…to not even transfer over ANY of the new nelf hairstyles and hair colors, as well as other stuff, is just pathetic, I’m sorry.
here’s my story: my undead tongue is a little more red. that’s all because undead didn’t really get anything. no scars, no tattoos, no accessories, no straight back, no ACTUALL fresh body model, no full skeleton option and no new race options for undead. a new expansion set around the realm of death and the undead get the least amount of new customizations. weak.
all my other toons have two to three tabs for head, body, and/or jewlery. my undead just has one. and nothing of interest.
Yup.
It feels like the Belf and Human patch. If you play those two, I’m sure you had so much fun…but for a lot of other races, this sucked majorly.
And I don’t want to change my NB to a Belf, and I shouldn’t feel that way fter a huge customization face-lift like this. EVERYONE should have had something fun to experience in the barber.
Black people can’t afford to go to the healers.
Now this is a story all about how
My hair got flipped, turned upside down
And I’d like to take a minute, so just sit right there
I’ll tell you how I became the grinch of the WoW barber chair
Once upon a time, in a land not so far away there was a quest. Not just any quest mind you, but a quest which would go down WoW history as legendary.
Legendary, For it mentioned…(ominous orchestral music) the Gnome Fro.
Now I should point out that being mentioned in-game would make this hairstyle lore-compliant. How many other hairstyles can say that they are lore-compliant? Not many, since hairstyles don’t talk.
Here’s the thing though: Gnome Fro don’t need to talk.
Gnome Fro speaks for itself.
Alas, upon hearing of all the new upcoming customization options little Norman here just hoped beyond belief (and submitted many suggestion tickets) about this Legendary Gnome Fro. Surely Blizzard would agree and cede that a hairstyle actually mentioned IN THE GAME would warrant being a new customization option for male and female Gnomes alike?
Now, I realize that maybe some staff members may very well have sat in a conference room and come to the conclusion that The Gnome Fro was just too powerful a hairstyle for the playerbase.
My response would be, those staff members don’t know the power of Gnomes.
Gnomes can handle the Fro.
Please rethink this travesty and Free The Fro.
This has been my Ted Talk.
Absolutely garbage. Too many options on the few you choose to promote and practically nothing anywhere else. This was worth pushing the already staggered pre-patch back for?
Gnomes don’t even get make up
jewellery should have colour variants that match hair/eyes not just silver/gold. Sure it makes sense but in wow we have soooo many different metals we can have different colours right?
Went on this character, was very underwhelmed. Other than skin (which makes male Forsaken look goofy as hell), there wasn’t much else. A few new hair styles, glowy eyes. Would have liked to have a wispy beard option, maybe the ability to stand up straight. Heck, with the zombie craze these last 10 years or so, there is a plethora of stuff you could have done.
This was also the perfect opportunity to let us make other races undead, and it was squandered.
Overall, I find the new customizations kind of “meh.”
Though from what I hear, some other races got a ton of stuff, and people are happy with that. All races should have gotten the same treatment.
Some of the options are still pretty awesome. My orc went from looking cool, to being completely bad@ss; my tauren looks like an actual individual; and my human has the phatty chops and mo’ combo he’s always dreamed of.
Wish there were more middle-tones skin colours for blood elves, though - without some nice, rich crimsons and reds, it just looked like blizz just jumped on the bandwagon.
And where’s the gnome fro?
i like my old model :DDD
I had female human dk made in WotLK and named after a female scifi villain. They visited the barber shop and I’m very happy with my new male dk - wearing the armor nicer - and looks like Mr Darcy. Very swoonable.
Also had female orc from the first day when we allowed to have both factions on the one server initially called AllyMcSpy (lol humour me). They are now a very handsome slightly battlescarred and upright male orc. The hunchy horde postures on overly buff bodies have been the main aesthetic sticking point for me. But the present state is quite comely. Just need a buzz cut like Thrall’s former one.
logged in to see i was 50 but no shadowlands so… i logged out. the end.
What really desapoints me is missing most of the new classic races customization in their allied counterpart… like, new haircuts, tatoos, blingbling stuff.
Why can’t I have a looong jewelled tail on my Lightforged Draenei, or a new haircut?? Why???
Yeah whatever, I can’t login anymore at all, so…
