Tell me opur secret Blizzard

Why no matter if I play alliance or horde I always have to fight full geared people, Im a casual player and play only random PvP. You make my experience miserable, why???

playing because you think another faction wins more is just not the move anymore. when you switch off your alliance for horde you could’ve won the next bg that horde is losing. vice versa

i’ve lost most of bgs on alliance the past 3 days and my friend queuing as horde also lost most of their bgs. :man_shrugging:t3: you’ll win eventually playing the same faction

Being a casual player who only plays randoms will definitely be a hindrance to your team, you’re likely to see less wins because of it. Valid question about your experience though, but I’d voice your opinion in the ptr threads, not here. Our opinions aren’t heard in the bg forums

That’s because if you queue as a solo pug you will be put up against premades of geared players. They system is designed to reward elite players for playing the game right™ by giving them oodles of free welfare loot they can buy with honor they “earned” one shotting low geared players, and punish low geared players for not being elite.

There are premades on both sides, geared and not geared.

Playing rated does not make anyone elite. Nothing elite about pressing the queue button.

“free welfare loot they can buy”, did your brain.exe stop working?
Anyway, what welfare loot are the supposed elite players buying with Honor points?

Blizzard thinks by making item level tied to rating that people will play more rated pvp.

In reality, people either quit or party sync into the 59 bracket like me if the only content they enjoy is random bgs and playing multiple classes.

I doubt blizzard will remove their systems that force unwanted gameplay on their playerbase because that would force them to admit they’re wrong and are bad game designers.

Mostly geared players do premades. They are given incentives in the game to do so.

Ah, the “People who do rated PvP are the true casuals.” Disagreeing. They have higher aspirations than players who want nothing to do with rated PvP and better gear. And this doesn’t change the fact that Blizzard considers doing group content using the group finder or especially private groups to be the right way to play the game, a way that should be rewarded.

No, yours. Elite players who farm randoms in premades to get honor to buy gear are being rewarded with easy access to the best gear in the game by farming the easiest content in the game. Mythic raiders don’t get to buy mythic raid gear and upgrades by farming currency in normal dungeons.

Doing effortless content to get the best gear in the game = “free welfare loot”.

All players do premades.

Mental gymnastics.
Rated and randoms are both casual. Game mode doesn’t make one a casual or hardcore player.
I understand your lack of knowledge and experience here given that you have a career high of 1038 in any rated gameplay, so I forgive your inability to formulate a coherent and informed argument.

Yes I would imagine that Blizzard considers doing group content together with a group to be the right way to play in a multiplayer team-based game. Shocking, hmm?

This statement here says all that anyone will ever need to know about you. Clueless, inept, and good fodder for r/confidentallyincorrect.
Elite players do not get the best gear from randoms. It’s impossible. Not “haha impossible”, but actually impossible. The best gear only comes from doing rated content.

If content is effortless then why isn’t everyone in the best gear?

Large difference between both is Random Battlegrounds require random individuals for queue times, Mythic Raiding only requires a guild. One could argue: farming honor in random battlegrounds against casuals is slower than just continuing instant rated arena queues; after all gear shouldn’t matter? “Frankly it’s a skill issue” which means their is cowardice in the one trying to upgrade rival to duelist gear in random battlegrounds on 7min+ queue times because he/she is too afraid to continue fighting in arenas (“Frankly it’s a skill issue”; not a gear issue).

Rofl, do you even know how this game works right now? Honor doesn’t buy you the best gear in the game, conquest does. You -upgrade- your gear with honor, sure, but you still need the rating to do it. So no, only doing randoms in premades will 100% not net you the best gear in the game.

Good god the amount of people who try to educate others on matters they have no understanding of is hilarious.

HAHA. You mean all players that matter.

This is a new thing. Previously randoms were known as “casual PvP” and rated was not casual. It was competitive. You are framing pushing high rating as “totally casual, I swear” in order to convince people that “everything is casual!”. This is just like the mythic raid loggers who, after playing at an elite level for decades, now only raid log. “But mythic raiding is totally casual, what’s wrong with you casuals who have never stepped in an instance before? If I was a new player who was just learning to move my character across the screen yesterday, today I’d be at max level and have hundreds of friends on my friends’ list begging to carry me for free.”

Yeah, no. Rated is the opposite of casual. People like you whine about “casuals in my bgs who aren’t in glad or mythic raid gear, how dare they be non-competitive?” in content that has always been casual content. Half of players in wrath spammed bgs because they didn’t want to do rated.

And I understand why you need to try to gaslight us here.

That’s you. A failure at propaganda.

Elite players get the best gear by farming randoms to get honor, thus destroying the experience of the players for whom it was originally intended. Without upgrades it wouldn’t be the best gear.

Ah, yet another attempt to twist my words into something you know they were never intended to mean. Now you’re just making yourself look like a liar.

Bgs are effortless to players in high ilvl gear. They don’t belong there. They should have to work for their upgrades, not get them by farming graveyards in premades.

Unlike you who are a standard forum white knight clown who would say anything to support unpopular game features that are destroying PvP. Screech away, big guy. Keep screeching. Maybe you can get your alts to like your posts.

Ah, yes, well that about sums that up

I’d actually buy shadowlands if it had real PvP. At the moment it doesn’t. So pat yourself on the head for being so clever as to watch the pyramid crumble from the bottom up. But at least you got your bling.

This “we don’t need none of them there casuals” is a sure path to failure for any MMO.

I’m glad you acknowledged everything I said. Good talk

Not even going to bother with this kid now lmao. Clueless and inept clown who doesn’t even have the game. I’ll get a discussion with more critical thinking by talking to my goldfish.
