FIX THE PROBLEM OR PROVIDE A SOLUTION!!! PLEASE!!!

Hey there Tekneek!

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue. We aren’t aware of any server-side issues that would be causing this error, so I’ve moved your post to your own thread so that we can troubleshoot what’s causing it. This specific error occurs if there is an interruption or inability to connect to the game server. With that in mind, based on the troubleshooting you’ve already tried, it sounds like the problem could be network-related. Can you temporarily test an alternate network such as a mobile hotspot or VPN?

Once you’ve switched over to a different network, try to reproduce the error. If you’re not getting the error when using an alternate network, at that point we can be sure that the issue is isolated to your primary network. You will need to contact the ISP for assistance determining what is causing the issue to occur on that specific network, as they might need to adjust network-level security/firewall settings or temporarily replace the network devices in your home to narrow it down further.

On the other hand if you encounter the same error when using an alternate network, this indicates that something isolated to the computer is causing the issue. To narrow it down, try closing any potentially conflicting programs/applications by disabling startup items with the steps below. Before trying the steps below, please close unnecessary programs and restart your computer:

  1. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open the Task Manager.
  2. Click More Details in the bottom-left.
  3. Select the Startup tab.
  4. Right-click on each item listed and select Disable. Make sure all are “Disabled”.
  5. Restart the computer.

If the issue is resolved after restarting your system, you can enable each startup application one at a time to determine which one is causing the problem. You will need to restart between each application you enable.

Note: To re-enable startup applications, follow steps 1-4 and select Enable.

Hi I’m having the same issue. Do you think it could be due to all the texas snow storms that’s where I live?

Of course it could. Especially if it started when the storms did.

It started basically when the Tuesday reset happened when I guess is when it got crazy here

Frontier?

Seems like it’s resolved now. Took a while and changing instances was taking multiple tries. Armchair network warrior guesstimate is routing had to be relearned, first time you went to a new place it always failed, second try usually worked.

Think the multiple blackouts and icy conditions exhausted back up power and things never meant to turn off, turned off.

Yup frontier must have been why then

Except not everyone is experiencing this, so it’s not that simple. I was experiencing this issue at the launch of Shadowlands, but it turned out to be an old add-on querying the server for data that didn’t exist anymore.
