But, Wrathion is obviously Blizzard’s favorite, while he’s also supposed to be our buddy. Hell! He even appears in the loading screen while Sabellian doesn’t.
So I don’t think it’s really a debate. Blizzard clearly wants Wrathion to win (that’s why they’re making Sabellian look better at the start), so they’ll pull out some “Sabellian was a baddie all along” or at least some “he recognizes Wrathion superior heart” and make him concede.
I’d go as far as to say Sabellian’s character is written specifically as a way to give Wrathion some character development and nothing else.
Wrathion because I thrive on conflict. The hot headed, immature, self serving risk taker seems more likely to stir up trouble later on. Plus I’d take the evil I know over the one I don’t.
Brother in the sense that everyone black dragon is considered deathwings children. Sabellian even calls him brother.
But realistically hes the grandson of deathwing and nephew of Sabellian. He didnt come from the only consort that could survive sleeping with deathwing so he just 2 random dragons getting in on’s kid
Sabeillian is indeed older, and probably has more experience than Wrathion, however he’s been in Outland the whole time. Now he suddenly wants to come up, just because the throne is empty.
Wrathion does have charisma, and a whole lot of influence/followers…but his actions did basically lead to the massive legion invasion.
I’ve never trusted Wrathion, he’s shifty and smug and you always get the impression he’s double dealing behind your back. Sabellian came along and put him in his place like the whiny whelp he is by comparison to his older brother and I hope we see a lot more of that between them.
I’m leaning for a council. The black dragons have been leaderless for far too long, and Wrathion is pretty hot-headed. If forced to choose only one, though, I’m team Wrathion. The devil you know and all that…
Best part was when they both looked at the Djaradin and were like.
“We’ll finish this later.”
Also Sabellian because anyone able to keep morale up when your people are being impaled on Mountain spikes, has to be pretty inspiring all things considered.
All Wrathion got me was Warlords of Draenor and the Legion invasion that killed Varian.
