Tbc without GDKP

Yeah, so I am right, you just wanna buy gear with gold. Why go through all the nonsense arguing when that is really all it is

I mean, if there was a way to transfer something like DKP around between pugs I’d be for it. You got any ideas for that?

You could just run your alts with a damn guild dude

Because the pro-GDKPers can’t just be honest about it. They think lying makes them look better. Even though everyone knows the truth anyway, including Blizz.

Or, I could run them any day of the week in pugs if pugs were higher quality. Unfortunately that’s just not the case and as we’ll see in the next few months, it’s only gonna get worse.

I’d appreciate that if you want to talk trash about me that you say it directly to me instead of making snide comments replying to other people. But you don’t want to have a conversation because you know you have no talking point except calling everyone who likes GDKP an RMTer.

I’m sure some day you’ll say something truthful about GDKP’s. Not today though, you’re still moving those same goal posts you’ve been dragging for a whole year.

does not matter if its the best pug system it launders enough gold to make it an issue for blizzard and erodes guilds.

only going to get worse for people who dont like to interact with guilds

“No one said gdkp’s were the only reason for rmt”

Must be rough with your only friend not posting

Zero evidence of this, much like every other claim you make. Ignores nuance, intent, degree, etc., all of which I’ve already pointed out to you.Can you only operate in poorly made comparisons that don’t hold to even the slightest of pushback? Are you just going to repeat your same talking points that have been debunked many times in this thread alone?

Another claim with zero evidence.

Another claim, zero evidence.

Three strikes, you’re out.

there was way more botting in 2004 than anni or sod

You think there was more botting with a fraction of the playerbase? When botting was yet to be a million+ dollar industry?

I mean, you can try and claim zero evidence for the first two if you’re just trolling I guess. Which, not a surprise from you honestly.

Zero evidence of the AH being the machine behind RMT and botting? So the bots who farm in the world, usually botting herbs/mining, sometimes fish botting, but also raw gold/cloth farming. Wouldn’t be using the AH to sell all their botted materials? Or all the greens they get from farming? I didn’t realize the bots were so advanced they could dump their materials into the market without even using the AH. It’s not like in 2019 we had botters running their own strat live’s to flood the market with righteous orbs or anything. There’s zero evidence that the AH is being abused by botters, according to ol Bloomsday.

RMT and botting has definitely become a larger issue in the last year. It’s not just something that one or two people in a 40 man guild is doing and trying (and usually failing) to hide that they’re doing it. It’s something in the open now. People openly admit to cheating, how much they buy, what they buy it for. It’s extremely obvious with how many warriors on annifresh were running around with Lionheart, Edgemasters, Cloudkeepers, and an epic mount in the first couple weeks. You’re lying to yourself if you think the people RMTing are keeping it remotely as hidden as they used to. More people are doing it. Streamers have talked about doing it on stream and faced 0 reprecussions.

But the third one? Madskillzhc, literally 5 months ago. Maybe if you did anything besides troll the forums on a hidden profile you’d have heard about it.

the playerbase in 2004 was 10x the playerbase of anniversary.
on launch day in 2004 there were over 100k concurrent players with over 200k accounts created. on launch day.

i would anecdotally agree that there was more botting in 2004-2006 by volume.

i remember gold farmers use to some how instantly spawn in hundreds of level one characters and kill them in a fashion that spelled out their website right in the floor of ironforge. it was so blatant, but blizzard also actively policed back then too.

at worst in anniversary they spam trade chat for a few hours before being squelched.

if were looking at it as a percentage, maybe perhaps there is more rmt in anniversary. we will never know tho because blizzard doesnt tell us these things.

anecdotal but ive heard several stories of people just talking to the bots and asking them if they have anything to sell cheap. most young people in china already speak english as it is taught in their schools from an early age, but even better if you know mandarin, the main chinese dialect.

to this i just have to say “hate the player not the game”.

what is worse? the player who cheats or the game system that allows it to happen? this feels like an accountability issue to me. like we concluded earlier, enforcement would stop this.

Well you do have to remember, ironforge is only reporting logged characters. So it’s already going to be missing a part of the raiding scene. It’s never going to include characters that never raid (ex: Bots)

Though I do agree, it’s almost exclusively an enforcement issue. Would be nice if they even had some interns to work on this. This being, the obvious bots that are literally everywhere in the world. Takes like 10 seconds to spot one if you watch them anywhere near mobs.

Provide evidence then. Prove us wrong, but something tells me you won’t be able to, which is not a surprise coming from you honestly. You’ve had thousands of posts to prove us wrong, and all you’ve done is make more foolish posts that everyone ignores.

This wasn’t your original claim. This was your original claim to which I said you have zero evidence for:

The AH is not the cause of RMT. It certainly isn’t the cause of 99% of RMT. Once again, Ikanaide is unable to even keep up with their own arguments. Is it any wonder to you why no one listens to you? Don’t you ever take time to reflect on why your posts have failed to convince anyone?

And your evidence is what? If it’s trolling to say there’s no evidence for your claims, then surely you’d be able to provide evidence, right? Or is this another Ikanaide specialty, where you prove yourself to be hopelessly incompetent?

Ah yes, because streamers would never lie to you. It’s amazing how dumb their audiences are and how they just believe everything their streamer tells them.

Another Ikanaide blunder.

and then they cry on reddit when they get banned

1 server with GDKP, 1 server without GDKP. This is the answer.

Have the GDKP server be a goblin themed name. Go next, everyone can play on a server that coincides with their preference.

I think you are underestimating how difficult it is to raid on multiple characters in different guilds. I’ve tried doing it in different versions of the game and it is hard, can’t imagine doing it on the same version.

A healthy PuG scene is a good thing for the game, you shouldn’t need to “find another guild” to be able to raid consistently and in an efficient manner on an alt.

Fun fact: you can put your alt in your main guild and go for pieces nobody needs.

Raid gearing multiple alts is not difficult. You choose to make it hypothetically difficult by disregarding the easiest, most readily available option.
