“Help’s others” at the detriment of the entire raid team by taking ~35 people to go do a raid that maybe 5 people will benefit from for the sake of 1 person who has no gear? Are you stupid? You wanna know what actually happens if a new person joins a guild in classic and needs gear? Good guilds drag their dead body through the current content and hands them all the gear nobody else needs. Because going back to MC when your guild is in Naxx or AQ is not something that happens. And with each xpac the gap between tiers widens further and further, this becomes the case more and more.
Do you think I hit max level on retail and asked my guild to go do whatever the previous tier was? No. We did M+ and they made fun of me for getting destroyed by passive aoe damage and now I have AOTC and prog mythic with them.
The difference is M+ takes 5 people total, all of which will benefit from them once you’re doing high enough keys. And MC takes 20+ (30+ to be efficient) and one or two people might benefit.
