Just don’t know what would possess a person to want to RP as something the size of a toddler.
No one but you/RP’rs care about the height of the character. They’re choosing for racials.
People use iMorph anyway
I can’t speak to others but for my part, it isn’t RP. I just genuinely don’t like gnomes but that is beside the point. The comment was made in obvious (or perhaps not so obvious) jest. Not sure why you’re so beside yourself over the matter.
I’ll grant you that. Had a particularly nasty one chasing me around ICC once, attempting to grab hold of my tail while gnashing at my ankles. As an aside, it’s that very same gnome who accused me of being gnomophobic and thus, my alt guild was born.
Jokes aside and looking back on it, most of the people that I bummed around with in WoW played gnomes. Even more odd to me is that every one that I can recall also happened to be Australian. I guess if you live in a place where everything is out to kill you, you choose to live vicariously through a pint-sized incarnation of absolute terror.
Back on topic though, maintain pre-nerf raids. Instead of nerfing them after a certain point, perhaps make the vials necessary for Hyjal attunement available elsewhere? Not about to hold my breath over the idea.
Agreed.
I’d even go for, if the Classic team could figure out how without mucking up something else, making the attunement account-wide if we could stick with the original difficulty intended.
Why yes. I am still chapped about Wintergrasp in Wrath Reforged. My lack of confidence in you, Blizzard, should be disturbing.
Meh.
if you make attunements account-wide, players will get attuned on an eazymode toon, then play a different toon that they have no skill playing in content that the attunement is there to protect the rest of us from.
there needs to be a char-by-char skillcheck before lifting attunements like that or you get the fail in upper tiers.
If we keep the original difficulty pre-nerf then can’t that be the skill check?
Failure is good for character building.
Account wide attunements are a very bad idea. This will kill participation in heroics because everyone who already has a main who’s attuned will never do that content again on alts.
A better compromise would be just gating attunements behind honored rep so people aren’t forced to spam normals until their eyes bleed.
Their is nothing wrong with the raid attunements and mostly just require you to do content you have to get gear from anyway before moving on to the current raid. Nothing should change about those.
Oh.
I see you both mistake me.
My bad for poor communication.
I’m willing to give up attunements if we can get the pre-nerf difficulty and keep it. I don’t mind doing all the work necessary and ran heroics till my eyes bled in TBCC first go around. I was playing SoM as well as jumping into TBCC (healer main) to run with guildies and pugs (until all the weirdness that swirled around a certain pug loot system creeped me out too much to continue with pugs).
I just like running stuff.
But maybe I’m weird that way.
I get this completely. Abused RDF in WotLK Classic to get all of the primordial saronites I needed for Shadowmourne. Then just kept doing them to get all of the primordial saronites for a fury warrior in my guild. I’d run dungeons just to break up the monotony of farming other things. Soloed old raids simply for the same reason.
Yeah I’m with ya.
I guess I just don’t consider sometimes that others wanna solely get from point to point as quickly as possible.
Again my bad.
well, the problem with that is the other 24 players who did nothing wrong get dragged down by the sandbag… and then the guild multiplies because someone got called out so the exodus follows.
I haven’t been able to shake those guys since 1999 back in Norrath.
I my guild.
