you have to use
/run SetCVar("nameplateMaxDistance", 41)
if yo udon’t use preformatted text it uses stylized quotations that the game doesn’t recognize as being correct.
/run SetCVar(“nameplateMaxDistance”, “41”)
This is the only one that worked for me.
I also just noticed that Threat Plates, in “Blizzard Settings” has a slider for max distance. It was set to 41 after I had finally found a command line that worked for me. Perhaps someone could just go into Threat Plate settings and skip the copy/pasting… not sure
