personally i wouldn’t want to see TBC till 6 months after naxx at least, but thats just my opinion gives people time to clear AQ 40 and Naxx and be able to get it on farm and enjoy the huge gear…before having to worry about leveling another 10 levels and basically start again with Raid gearing etc.
yes please teach me
Well start with “objectively” and “better” are not mutually exclusive. So I don’t have to choose, you need to go back to grade school
I would assume they’re gunna alternate years. So 2019 was classic, 2020 is SL, and in later summer or fall of 2021 we’ll get BC. But I’m more curious about how the classic-BC transition will be handled
ob·jec·tive·ly
adverb
- in a way that is not influenced by personal feelings or opinions.“events should be reported objectively”
bet·ter
adjective
of a more excellent or effective type or quality.
you dont have to choose one. it was just a suggestion.
Saying BC was objective literally makes no sense lol. To say something is objectively better is to say that is better based on facts. An opinion is subjective. You subjectively prefer classic, but BC is an objectively better game.
Glad you figured out how to crtl-v
wait, youre saying i like the wrong game?
Not at all, everyone has their preference. For Zelda games I prefer Ocarina of Time, but I know Majora’s mask is objectively a better game.
ah, so really, its all based on your own personal opinion. not actually facts.
No not really. BC is a better designed and better made game. That doesn’t mean anyone has to like it more than classic.
classic is actually much better designed than tbc. classic is more robust with its stat design and the advent of flying was a negative addition to the game. so was the outland, as it pulled players out of the game world and centralized them into a much smaller region where their actions still held meaningful impact on their progression.
Are you forgetting classic’s horribly designed pvp system that doesn’t encourage competitive gameplay at all and useless rewards, or incredibly dull rudimentary raid and dungeon design, class balance being all over the place, terrible itemization.
Not liking flying is subjective, recognizing that a +shadow damage 2 handed axe is completely useless to every class in the game is objective.
The rough edges and inherent flaws are what define classic, and what make it fun. That doesn’t mean it was designed better.
Warlocks should be allowed to use these, but only gnomes.
forgetting? no. i just remember it differently than you.
And that’s your opinion. Which is fine. I’m not telling you’re wrong for prefering classic over BC.
I’d use a 2 handed axe lol
It’s going to be worth it over whatever Shadowlands turns out to be.
Should probably stop arguing with someone who doesn’t understand what the word ‘objectively’ means. People are always going to try to define their opinions as facts. Let it go.
Man that’s some straight talk. Describes the feel of the expansions very well. I think maybe shadowlands is a transition back to a more classic feel of the game? (given classic’s success and all)
And why are we making it about TBC vs Classic? You can play both! We dont need none of that retail vs classic stuff with TBC and classic . Just like how I can log on to retail play there and also play classic.
If only TBC didnt have flying it would probably be the perfect wow expansion. It would have the classic feel with everything fixed
Classics success goes hand in hand with unemployment and quarentine. It’s helped a lot of bored people, but not sure if interest will be high enough toward end of classic to warrant tbc.
