Why run anything after week 1?

Rep.
BoJ.
Primal nether.
Profession quests.
Drops that continue to elude you.
Alts for drops, or for rep rewards.
Attunements.
Leveling.
Gold.

All it does is make it so your alts have an easier time getting into raids.
If you want certain items, recipes etc.. you’ll still need the rep for each individual character.

I honestly appreciate account wide attunements, but this will be an effect of that.
I think it will have the opposite effect you are expecting.
This will entice many more people to actually play alts, and do dungeons so they can fill the gaps in their gear. For every 1 person not doing dungeons because of the account wide attunements, another 2 are now in the pool of players actively playing a new alt and doing dungeons they wouldn’t have done beforehand.

That’s where I’m at but with the token coming theres no way people won’t just buy the things they want and then just go easy mode arena for the other slots

Oh it’s coming. It was added to the shop and then the product disabled so you can’t see it now but it’s there. All they have to do is enable it and go. What do you think all this maintenance lately has been about?
I dont know, Im all for WOW token. I think it will solve a bit of the botting mess. If people buy tokens and sell on AH then the gold is being recycled, if its bought outside the game then its bot gold and added to the economy.
crap to disenchant to add to list. even in full on FFA you will at least see a few greens even with all all rolling greed.

Not even looking at retail seriously as fulltime. But I do love some karazan runs. It has fun RP bits to take in. Upper has some interesting designe elements I like too. Lower has the fun of which play do I see this run. Like this weekend…first time I ever saw the Wicked parady.
When that alt that has never set foot in a dungeon steps up to tank heroic blood furnace it’s going to be hilarious.
this take is really bad, especially considering that people still run phase 1 dungeons RN in vanilla

Heroic dungeons are harder than the raids 
They will still have item level restrictions. So, I dont think a fresh 80 will be able to run heroics w/o the proper item level… doesnt mean they will be good. Just saying… lol

If we’re predicting, I think OP is likely to be correct at least so far as that we’ll see something like we saw in Wrath where alt and late-leveling tanks/healers want to gear up in 68-70 normals first, but all the dps just jump past into Heroics as soon as they have a key.
So I think people will still want to be running something, but that we’ll see a widened gap between where tanks/heals are and where dps are.
They will be fine.
