TBBC - Sent mail to unactivated toon

Sent mail from a TBC toon to an unactivated toon (from classic).
How do I get the items back or will they eventually return?

TIA

Cant u just log into that toon.

Can’t. It is deactivated for TBC (and live in vanilla) and you have to pay to activate it. I won’t do that.

Give the mail restore/return tool a try.

If you have a active subscription u dont need to pay anything just log into it.

DOes that apply to classic.

I didn’t see any limitations to it? I figure giving it a shot was worth it. Worst case scenario they’re no worse off.

I can’t log into it. It is not activated.
Original classic version is active and can be logged into to.
TBC version requires real money to clone and activate it for TBC and I won’t do that.
I am wondering if the mail will bounce in 30days.

Edit: and mail recovery does not list the deactivated TBC version so I can’t use that.

Mail will get returned in 30day.

Drat, I’m sorry. It was worth the try at least.

Whether the character is active or not, is irrelevant. Like this person said:

That was one of the frustrating things about Classic (this includes BC Classic) and Cloning (more like unactive chatacters, but I digress). Not being able to delete unactive characters due to mail.
