Blizzard wanted to burn him at stake.
Mechs, guns, gunboats. Gnomes are vastly more interesting.
(places captive bolt pistol to Taurens forehead) Look, theyāre just meant to be a food supply.
Tauren as a race I find interesting as in many way I alway saw them as the gentle giant race as in they might not like to fight but are not afraid to.
Most thing Iāve read about them is that in a fight they can be way more frighting and more savage than even the orc if you push them 2 far.
this is why I alway hated when you ever see any of the big name tauren character there alway written as the peace keeper at least give me one tauren that talks with his axe.
āCan you help me find my dog.ā
You just sent me back to my baby warrior in BC the voice and the music of the game back when the game was a huge mystery and so wonderous⦠I might cry now. Oh 2007ā¦i will always help him find his dog T_T
Ahab Wheathoof bless him⦠Back when wow and make a wish. Ezra Chatterton. Rip kiddo. Kyle is still well.
Figure Iād pull the ace out of the deck and use it here⦠that is the most memorable memory I have from leveling numerous Taurens throughout the years (2004)
Tauren were given exactly one interesting internal plot for their race in the entirety of WoW: Magathaās assassination of Cairne using Garroshās duel with him, followed by her takeover of Thunder Bluff.
And it was relegated to a book.
Looking more broadly to the Horde as a whole, the tauren had one truly unique plot for their role in the Horde with a lot of story-telling potential (there were other interesting Horde plots they were part of, but not in a way that made them unique compared to trolls or other races).
The unique plot they had was this: they were the ones who got the Forsaken into the Horde, on the belief that the Forsaken were interested in the possibility of redemption and perhaps finding a true cure to undeath. What if the Tauren had really pushed that plot? Been a major aspect of the Hordeās internal dealings with the Forsaken?
Imagine the dynamics they couldāve had, the tauren as the race wanting to restore the cycle of nature by restoring true life to the Forsaken? Forsaken dividing, with some wanting to work with the tauren, and others being against a cure, because they found power in undeath and would not given up their desires for vengeance?
Alas. This plot of the tauren too was entirely forgotten by Blizzard. A vanilla thread cut short long before its time. Iād bet that 99% of the playerbase has no idea that it was the Tauren who recruited the Forsaken into the Horde.
This is such a winning reply, omfg.
Tauren is one of the best races, top 2-3 Iād say.
Weāre under attack! Avast, ye swabs! Repel the invaders!
And here I thought you were talking about their posture.
As hilarious as this meme was⦠I actually like Chad Tauren. lol
I laughed at this, well played
hushhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! blizz sometimes forgets he exists and iāmma blame YOU if something happens to him! he is my favorite taur and my favorite druid. D:
please resist talking about him. for his own protection.
I Gamon will save us!
Youāre welcome.
Tauren are s staple of the game and the horde as a whole. Flop races are anyone who came after the cataclysm
Hamuul Runetotem was a pretty cool dude. I remember nursing him back to health when he got torched during The Firelands.
Blizz cared enough to give us all classes, except DH and Evoker, to make up for being so floppy.
Iād rather not have a Disney Taurenā¦
