changes to “tuning” and “balancing” almost daily at this point.
when you changed bear and announced the changes to the other tanks, it seemed like you finally understood the state of tanking in your game.
but just days after programming bear one way, you are programming it a different way.
the forums are full of “it’s because of those 5 bears timing a +20” when the reality is the state of this game is one of rolling beta.
the game is simply unfinished and the more you tinker with it, the more it seems like you have no real idea what is going on.
I think between class trees, spec trees, hero talents, apex talents, and tier sets, you folks have bitten off more than you can chew.
I am just getting tired of the bugs, the flip flops, random extended maintenance, content that serves little purpose other than cosmetics, etc.
you have made some changes that are really interesting: delves, skyriding, warband renown, and particularly the renown champion gear this expace.
but, c’mon, the core part of the game seems to be falling apart.
and the idea that you are going to “tune” or “balance” the game based on what the top 0.1% of the player base can pull off is just ludicrous.
I made my first toon in late 2006 and have played on and off since 2007.
I took a break with BFA because of resource grind, pathfinder bs, and mission table nonsense.
all that got cleaned up and i came back for SL and classic.
but the state of the game today is troubling.
yes, I am particularly troubled by the back and forth bear changes. maybe they will be okay enough for now.
but the “problem with bears” is one you created. and instead of working on the fundamental issue that you have guardian all messed up now, you are making live changes weekly, daily, rather than leaving it alone until you actually fix the spec.
after alpha, beta, and PTR, it just looks like the live game itself is just rolling beta of an unfinished game.
