man this post reminds me of a dungeon I did yesterday. idk why. but it popped to mind.
join the group, and it’s two friends and a couple other randoms, the two dudes are talking a big talk about how “yesterday we did a mists in 15 minutes” “yea bro I did one in 17 lets go” stupid crap.
all through up to the first boss they’re going on about their
“baller damage” and how great they are.
and then I ( tank) proceed to do more damage on the boss than the dps warrior.
it made me laugh.
people who have to claim “Baller dps” are quite often… not.

Some combination of not paying attention and being in too much of a hurry.
Personally I won’t tank or heal pug anything unless I know I have the required amount of time and then some available. There’s just too many variables to treat fast as possible completion as a given.
Because 1 person was missing?
No doubt it was a jerk move but the entirety of a 9 streets is 4-mannable.
Don’t ask me how I know 
I always wait until I am sure they can at least make it into the room. Some bosses don’t require you to wait, you can just walk in regardless. Like the big worm boss end of mists. I don’t care how far back you are, join in when you reach us. Final boss of sanguine though? you’re just hurting yourself if you pull before everyone can get into the room.
Sounds like the dps messed up.
quit lagging around cause when tanks do wait in most dungeons everyone starts pulling for them whether its keys or leveling dungeons. don’t blame the tank when half the time everyone just pulls for them and don’t sit here and lie and say it hardly happens it happens on the regular.
Autopilot
You run the same dungeons for 2 years and it just becomes automatic. Every pull you know how you are gonna do it. You see the boss you just assume everyone’s with you. Its really easy to slip into a rhythm.
You ever drive to work along the same route that you take every day, start daydreaming, then you end up 1 block from work without actually remembering the drive there?
It’s like that.
That’s called highway hypnosis. Other people believe it’s proof you were kidnapped by aliens and had something implanted in your brain.
