Everyone else gets to sit around and wait in que, whereas you get to reque as leaving after a boss doesn’t trigger a desertion penalty. I guess the devs don’t play the game. How could they when this has been an issue for a while and nothing’s been done to handle it…
It’s total selfishness. Me first, who cares about anyone else, amirite? It even screws over tanks or healers that join and get to do a partial dungeon. Theres 2 easy many fixes for this. have all loot drops be at the end, or have a desertion penalty when leaving.
Unless I am wrong here and it does incur a penalty, in which case it’s alot less egregious but no less unfortunate. Please let me know if I am incorrect on something here.
It’s not always because they want to. It’s sometimes because they have to.
But if you look at another thread where someone is trying to tank and DPS keep doing dumb stuff like pulling for the tank, etc… there are people who don’t want to deal with it and will leave regardless of the debuff.
Getting a new tank or healer is usually pretty fast. And not many care that they came in on the middle of a dungeon run.
Am very glad to hear it. This thread’s question got answered quite fast. Thanks everyone. Wish I could close it but I will just abandon replying to it. be safe all : D
Well no, we waited for like nearly 20 minutes and did alot of the dungeon without a tank before one joined in near the end. Thank goodness for flexible Druid DPS.
are you talking about LFR. Yea a lot of people are doing for the dinars so once they hit 4 boss they are leaving. I do that too on my dps alt. I have zero need for anything in LFR. sometimes I will stay and finish the run if it was s mooth run and boss dies quickly. Sometimes is a slog so I leave after i got my 4 boss, take the debuff and go play another toon that needs the dinars.
I was doing a heroic War Within one. Was a bit early in the morning so that likely didn’t help. It was a Maldraxus one, a Shadowlands one pulled into the rotation.
