I would say it’s on the DPS to give the tank more than a milisec of time to establish threat.
It usually only takes like 1 second for a tank to get off their aoe dps/taunt.
When I was playing Feral Druid I used a threat meter to see when it was time to start bursting. When I saw I was getting close to overtaking the tank in threat I slowed down a bit.
Proof you don’t play SoD.
Most tanks don’t have AOE threat abilities that don’t suck.

This is where you are wrong, I can spam Thunderclap but a single Chaos Bolt or Starsurge will pull the primary target instantly. You can claim otherwise but you would be lying about it.

You’re playing wrong if you’re having issues with threat, I’m doing 150+dps on nearly every single fight as prot and most of the time gapping the groups damage.

He’s lying. I’ve done TONS of WC with all kinds of tanks. The only tank who holds agro consistently is a shaman.

My pet on hunter holds agro better than a warrior.
I have enjoyed having pets as offtanks in BFD just to taunt the stacks off. they beefy as heck
Sure, Shield Spec 5/5 Toughness 3/5 Warrior Tank, Priest Healer, Warlock DPS, Shaman (Caster) DPS and Hunter DPS, I think BM. Blood Frenzy, Furious Thunder and Endless Rage as the Runes. Level 17 Warrior and highest level was 18.
